The Senedd elections imo are a bigger deal than England’s council ones and I’m delighted the language front and centre.
I don’t really buy the road signs. Most on holiday will be using Satnavs and I don’t think different languages on signs prevent many from going abroad. | | | |

When travelling east past swansea and an electric sign says the A465 or M50 is closed in Welsh not all sat navs will pick it up until after you have turned off. Sometimes its better to listen to those who actually live in Wales and not return home occasionally. |  | | |

It won't stop people, but its really inconvenient if you are travelling to the Midlands and have to go south again further up the A465 as an example. It does Wales and the Welsh language no favours. | | | |

I have to say initially the matrix road signs were in English Welsh then this became Welsh English ,now in some parts purely in Welsh this along with now Health Boards and local councils either by instruction or by themselves now present phone options in Welsh firstly , no longer an option to chose so you have to listen to it in Welsh before English which I know does grate for some folk who just want to know which option button to press. | |

I think we can safely declare that Blair and New Labour's plan to import millions of likely Labour voters has backfired spectacularly.

These people blame the immigrant for taking "their jobs" which they probably turned down on dubious medical ground like bad back or depression often complicated by substance abuse. Compliant doctors sign them off then social services offer them a bowlful of benefit cherries to pick from a multitude of medical conditions.
In the last 4 years UK has extra people of working age on benefits It might be Covid related but there is not such similar trend in other western Countries.
