I posted something related to this on another thread, "How will it all go?". Just a question here: Why not train/teach Fulton how to play CB? It could extend his career, if he did well enough (more mobile than Joel Ward), then it would "kill two birds with one stone". He has the physicality, size & stature, and understands link-up to the midfield tactic/strategy. Just needs to learn the nuances of that position, imo. | | | |

To me,he should already have taken over the armband
We are not and have not utilised his talents properly
He’s a class act albeit one who gets pelters from some
It’s very odd to me
Build the team around him.? Can think of no other player in our squad that would fit that bill
Trouble is, Fulton is similar to him but not as significant
Stam is the future
Fulton had had a good career and must be financially fine
Our new midfielders should already have seen Fulton being one who is cover not a starter player
It’s annoying our new blood hasn’t replaced him as they are the future

I should rephrase the above to ponder on whether Stamenic is being lined up for a sale? He has the talent and the strength so clubs may be looking at him before the window closes. Jay has seasons left on his contract and I don't think will be leaving. | |

We have so many midfielders they won't all get on the bench, particularly with three forwards. Personally I would prefer a DM plus Widell/Franco and Walta/Just in the middle. But thats just my opinion, if we can get about £8-10M for Stamenic I think he is gone. | | | |

I remember being impressed and excited with what I saw from Mesa that short time we had him; and that on the surface, he had the talent to match his hype.
As I recall, his issues were rumored to be personal (drinking?), and that was why he was ultimately a bust at Swansea. | |
