Their biggest battle has always been trying to retain interest in the story after a couple of dull, mid table seasons. So far there's been something on the end of every season. Suspect a lot of the new "fans" would tune out after a couple of twelfth place Championship finishes. |  |

It's a matter of time in relation to it crashing and burning. The whole hype around them will inevitably slow down and the more they dip in form the less interest and hype they get via the media. I know American shows love making ridiculous amount of series, but at some point when does it become fun watching something on its last legs. | | | |

Rich, I think that generally but...strangely I have a a few tete-a-tete's from Wrexham fan's about how big they are compared to Swansea - all with some pre-conceived idea that we have spent most of our history in the 3rd and 4th division. This is a fallacy. We have spent more time in the top two divisions even though we had that horrible time from the late 60's in those lower leagues.
I think we are generally more grounded because of that period.

He reckons they’re ok and mark this , the vast majority are Liverpool Everton or Man Itd fans as have been their fathers
It’s embedded in many of them
Wrexham FC will never replace them as their team of choice
As for me, I don’t really treat them seriously and frankly we are in a different class as a club and fan base no matter what Re ent wealth has brought to them

I don’t know much about the comings and goings, finances etc at Stoke but given the deep pockets the owners have I’m surprised they are languishing at the bottom. I’d have thought Robins job must be on the line.
Edit- I’ve just had a quick check and as far as I can see, Stoke haven’t had a top half finish in the Championship since they were relegated back in 2018. Stoke fans must be going bananas.
