That's my prediction as well. Idah is bound to score against his old team. Vipi will come off the bench to score one. Norwich will pull one back to 2-1. then, after 75 minutes, Toshack will come on off the bench. He'll soar like an eagle to meet a Tymon cross and head it in. We can but dream!

2-0 up at halftime then changes on 60 minutes in preparation for Millwall.

It’s like first games of season getting to know eachother again. I don’t like international breaks but whatever you think, 3 weeks is too much. Good defence by Welsh there!

Just how do some enjoy international breaks This one has seen one key player injured Two physically shattered We are disjointed And for what exactly

| Swansea City v Norwich City : The Indy Match Thread on 13:24 - Oct 10 with 1152 views | AnotherJohn | Disjointed was the word that I had in mind as well. We've had our chances, but also a lot of good positions where a sensible final ball would have produced a chance. Idah seems to be having one of those days and I expect an early substitution. Widell has lost possession in dangerous positions a few times in earlier matches and needs to learn not to overplay deep in his own half. Nether of our wingers has really looked teh part and that could be another area for changes. Great opportunity today to cement our position at the top, but we may well blow it. | | | |

It’s playing its part for sure but it’s not affecting Norwich who are better all over the pitch. Our passing is woeful. We don’t want to be first into any 50:50. But they do We’ve wasted chance after chance but they’ve taken theirs. We feel we just have to turn up. They know they’ll have to work for it, and they are. I’m not pissed off we are losing but very pissed off about the performance. Changes needed and early. Sadly, Idah needs to be one of those. [Post edited 10 Oct 13:31]

International breaks actually benifit us because of our squad strength in debth, as witnessed today.
| Swansea City v Norwich City : The Indy Match Thread on 14:29 - Oct 10 with 844 views | union_jack | Great win, again showing character (and ability) to come back from one down. That can become a great habit to have. But let’s not kid ourselves, Norwich were better than us for large parts of that game. In fact, I was very impressed with them and seem to be in a false position in the league. Hey Ho, 3 points is £ points. Onwards and upwards. | |

Very honest First half disjointed because of these Bluddy internationals They might benefit associations but they do bugger all for clubs International games soon forgotten , be honest This is what is important Our priority Second half much better A word for Lissah . Terrific I’ve read he’s no right back ! He’s a natural footballer with huge talent and will become a very big player This boy is going to be a top name Treasure him while we can

| Swansea City v Norwich City : The Indy Match Thread on 14:37 - Oct 10 with 787 views | AnotherJohn | Much better second half and two excellent goals. My only moan is that I get worried when in a period when we are well on top we switch to a defensive mode and end up conceding chances, Norwich had two very good opportunities in the final minutes. | | | |

Not a new thing for us, either.
| Swansea City v Norwich City : The Indy Match Thread on 15:15 - Oct 10 with 618 views | Dr_Winston | I've seen some journalists describe the first half as "energetic" and I'd love some of whatever they are on. First half we were lethargic as hell. Too slow moving the ball, too keen to take too many touches and too easily caught in possession. Franco must have been robbed half a dozen times throughout the game, although none of our midfield three played well in the first half. Fulton perhaps a shade lucky to only get a yellow for that challenge. Much like against Lincoln we came out for the second half with a bit more fire in our bellies and made it count, all of which points to us being an even better side if we can work out how to do it in more than 15-20 minute patches. Widell seemed to drift wider more and find more space which suited him. Sat disappointingly deeper as the game went on which better teams than Norwich will probably punish so that's a habit Matos needs to get us out of as well. Still, three points is three points. We'll play better than that and fail to win in some games this season. | |
