One of my favourite bands of the 80s and 90s, “comeback” show on Radio 2 at 8pm tonight. Also on TV on the red button. If you’re interested. If not, ignore.
Saw them in about 1983 in the Colston Hall. They were outstanding. Lots of the old bands back out there. Going to see Darryl Hall and John Oats supported by Chris Izzack in the O2, as part of London Bluesfest, on Saturday. Going to the Arsenal game first. Really wanted tickets for Sunday Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan) but they were sold out. Got tickets forBryan Ferry in April.

Mate in work went up to see Metallica at the O2 30 quid for 4 drinks.
Great tune and video this, fair play. Plus a Beatles-esque trumpet solo. What's not to like?
Funny you should mention that. Rock radio station KLBJ-FM in Austin, TX in the late 80's would do parodies of popular songs. They'd come up with almost perfect impersonations of the voices and music, only with different, usually hilarious lyrics.
They did a memorable one of this song, and called it "Stealing The Beatles Stuff." Whenever I hear this song I always think of that parody.
