More to the point, Stoke are doing all the things we hate. Pressing with energy, keeping their shape, putting their foot in, looking to break quickly through centre midfield. we will need to up our game by 100% to get anything up there on Saturday.

I wouldn't read too much into their result over us reflecting on their ability in general. Joe Allen had pretty much free reign in midfield all game to do whatever the hell he wanted.
I'm expecting much the same again if we go for a midfield containing both Byers and Grimes, although Gallagher might toughen us up a bit. |  |

Have to admit for all the quality, the Championship is a hard watch at times. Watched Wigan, Birmingham and WBA in the last few days.
Both Wigan and Stoke look decent teams. Stoke I thought bossed the game and Allen could have made it 0 2 with his interception and pass for clungebucket to place it wide.
Dont fancy our chances at Stoke at all but my my, Stoke are a dreary watch even more so than Scumdiff.
