Half time taking Rodon and Morrell weakened us a lot.
Taking Rodon after Moore reduced our heading ability big time.
Disrupted things as well - after that just not competitive, a Giggs own goal for me.

Ampadu had a nightmate, trying too much on the ball and maybe the hype has got to his head a bit.

Horrible friendly, but we have to fulfill these friendly dates&with covid&play offs tAking place not sure how much scope there was to play someone else. Would have preferred a far weaker opponent (and not our traditional rivals) and I was a gutted to see how many regulars actually started last night (I understand why they did mind). But Moore got injured, Mephams confidence must be in bits& Davies can't have enjoyed. Only plusses was Hennesseys performance (couldn't do much about any of the goals).

HRK out injured & Tyler Roberts is no lone front man. Giggs shot himself in the foot here, I believe he had to scope to call up 3 more players (another after HRK dropped out). I know they aren't world beaters but calling up Vokes, Doidge or Bradshaw could have seen us not have change a system which has served us so well. | |
