Suffer the little children....

Catholic Church in particular has encouraged mass sexual assaults on both pubscesant and pre pubescant kids of both sexes . Nuns and priests The biggest predators out there. They have got away with it and in Ireland quite brazenly.

He went on to say that the widespread and indiscriminate promotion of condoms was immoral and a misguided weapon in the battle against HIV/AIDS. He gave several reasons: ‘The use of condoms goes against human dignity. Condoms change the beautiful act of love into a selfish search for pleasure — while rejecting responsibility. Condoms do not guarantee protection against HIV/AIDS. Condoms may even be one of the main reasons for the spread of HIV/AIDS. Apart from the possibility of condoms being faulty or wrongly used they contribute to the breaking down of self-control and mutual respect’

Are you RC? If you've seen the tv interview, Nichols says he offered his resignation to the Pope and the answer was apparently an unambiguous one, the Pope says he needs to stay on and do his job. Nothing wrong with the Church....it's rotten to the core. It's preachings have caused wars, spread disease and are responsible for millions of unwanted pregnancies with these kids often born into unimaginable poverty, lives of misery and still these people protect paedophiles. Hang on ....again....those running it are letting the perverts get away with it. Most of these perverts aren't running it, they are local clergymen abusing local children. That makes it rotten from the bottom to the top and back down again. I could relate the story of what happened to my uncles sister at the hands of Irish nuns (uncle by marriage) after she got pregnant at 16. For myself I'm agnostic but maybe verging on the hoping for something better side. Looking at the world we live on it'd be easier to believe we'd already died are in one of the levels of hell.

I recently told someone that, that we are in hell, it stopped him in his tracks and made him think I can tell you.

They prey on the vulnerable and the uneducated, no different from fortune tellers and the like. I've said it a million times before, pull all places of worship down and replace them with buildings and organisations that actually help people.

There is absolutely everything to do with the Catholic church. This aint aimed at individuals Jim but a Body of people who allow openly gross expolitation of young people over centuries. Like all religions, rotten to the core.In this church it seems that altar boys were pretty much seen as tools for priest to use for fun. The last 10 Popes should have resigned but didnt as they are watching their backs. Literally. Ireland is damned for forever with wholescale abuse of kids and any vulnerable people .Why? Becasue in the Cath Church the priest is all powerful in the community.Good luck reporting ex abuse of your altar boy so in Co Kerry in the 50s

My wife has always expressed to me her belief that to be celibate is not a natural choice and will eventually fall down. As for nuns, the most vicious ,evil daughters if darkness, giving themselves over to the service of God and spending a lifetime punishing those they see who do not. Pregnant girls in Ireland suffered appallingly and this is something Ireland cannot and shouldnt forget EVER.

If your priest did it your child would be called a liar for speaking out because your priest is a man of god and above reproach, What kid of religion can forgive absolutely any crime if you say the required amount of Hail Mary's, do your penance and slip a few bob in the collection plate? I wonder how many priests took IRA confessions?

In fairness the Catholic did on many an occasion speak out against the IRA , countered by instances of priests colluding with them and speaking out in ( audible but muted tones ) giving tacit support such as Fr Michael Canny endorsing McGuinness at a rally in Londonderry . When McGuiness died he was afforded the honour of having the tricolour draped over his coffin throughout the funeral service ,something rarely permitted inside a catholic church and normally an honour only bestowed on head of state.
