Drakeford was saying this morning that the PCR test is an effective and essential tool in th fight. Mind you hae was also saying mass testing is essential, I don't remember that always being the case?
Anyway, I heardba disturbing story yesterday, from my neighbour. Their daughters boyfriend lost his grandfather but not to covid. He was 93 and had Pneumonia and Sepsis. They took him into hospital then moved him to a covid ward. They allowed the family to visit, his wife also over 90, how stupid is that?
The last bit though, he didn't have covid but was on a covid ward and his death certificate reads cause of death as......yep....covid. | |

I have no reason to doubt my neghbours word. It was also said that several of the staff on the ward weren't wearing PPE.
I didn't ask which hospital it was, I should have!
Weall know what shouldn't happen but we also know our hospitals are full and one health board has stopped doing elective surgery because of the strain they are under.
With a lack of strong leadership and stupid people breaking rules, what can we really expect.
I don't think it's Morriston though, I'm told they have enough PPE and everyone wears it. | |

Would you care to explain, that all the positive cases we have had within our company have all resulted in the positive persons all being ill in exactly the same way. The biggest symptom they have all had, and for weeks afterwards, is that they were, and in some cases still are, absolutely exhausted.
Surely if it's as you are claiming, they would be saying "nothing wrong with me, haven't felt ill at all". |  |

A senior person who i work with, his father in law got placed onto a covid ward by mistake, after he had tested negative for the virus. He got released from hospital and promptly tested positive within two days. He is a gentleman in his 80's who has thankfully only suffered minor symptoms. That was in Morriston hospital.
The chap who works for us also tested positive for the virus, after caring for his father in law on his release from hospital.

Correct, they do too many cycles.
They often pick up dead matter and state the person has tested positive.
Belgium, I think, have reduced the number of cycles for this very reason, the inventor of the test also stated that they’d should not be used for covid testing.
It’s baffling why the world’s governments are using an unreliable test to restrict everyone.
