OK but he is one of greatest driversof all times and you've never commentated when one of the UK tax exiles who are political donors receive a gong. So why "apparently" deserved?

Ok, I don’t consider driving round in circles a sport. I think he’s an unlikeable individual who does nothing for this country that I’ve seen and he jumped on this years ‘ I'm bored but posh’ political bandwagon and made himself look very silly.

By far rhe best car and team And the fact he is a privilege little racist who pays no tax here He should not be awarded anything His comments if mad by a white person would have him thrown out the sport or atleast seriusly put in his place Same goes for aj Another loud moth racist who forgets his background.

Come on now the only reason he wins race after race is he has the best team and car, Vettol did the same before him how come Hamilton could not beat him if he is that great, luckily for Hamilton he has been able to stay with the best team with the best car for a longer period than those before him, not taking away the fact he is one of the best drivers but without the best car he would have one no where near the races he has won.

*Sigh* If it was purely down to the car Bottas would finish second every race. He doesn't. Notwithstanding the facts that A - The best drivers usually end up in the best cars anyway, and B - driver input is often one of the reasons the cars end up the best, much as Ferrari did under Schumacher. Almost exactly like that in fact. A year or two of planning and then dominance. Ferrari have had a car capable of winning the Championship in two out of the last four seasons. They haven't done so because Hamilton has ruined Vettel. The true mark of a drivers ability though is in the wet. A car's superiority means nothing if you can't keep it on the track. There's simply nobody in the current field able to touch him when the rain comes down.

Indeed. F1 is a team sport where the driver is part of a massive project. The best driver/best team/ most money argument is like saying Mo Salah only won the Premier League last year as he was playing for the best the team; he wouldn’t have won it if he was playing for Macclesfield.

Yes, that is why his team had to sabotage his 22 year old "apprentice" George Russell when he was driving Hamilton's car and winning. Even he was beating Bottas. Nothing to to with the car it is the skill of the driver, yeah right.

| Sir Hamilton on 06:15 - Jan 1 with 912 views | westisbest | THE New Year’s honours list is meant to be an inspiring tribute to the nation’s ingenuity and selfless public service. We can all applaud the many pandemic heroes on the 2021 list but there are good reasons to question some of the most prominent names. It should be axiomatic that those receiving honours live and pay their taxes in Britain. For all his achievements behind the wheel of Formula 1 cars, propelled by great British engineering, Lewis Hamilton does not meet that test. | | | |

Do you consider cycling, bobsleigh, things like that a sport? Or is it just things with engines that aren’t?
