| Norwich City fans reaction 00:05 - Feb 6 with 2105 views | KeithHaynes | Here’s one - If we were completely outclassed tonight and it was clear Swansea were the better team then that would be one thing, but the fact is we've lost this game because we've gifted them two goals. I said it at half-time Swansea really were nothing special and if we had Emi on the pitch I really would've fancied our chances. But the fact is we can't be so over-reliant on one player like we are on Buendia. Absolutely massive game tonight and we've generally looked completely toothless and been the architects of our own downfall. One thing I do think needs to be mentioned, without making excuses, is Swansea had a full week to prepare for this game, because they didn't play in midweek and fantastic people at Sky decided to move this to a Friday. We on the other hand had 2 days and had to make our longest away trip of the season. Cantwell and Skipp played well, Mario and Onel made an impact when they came on. Outside that there was nothing good to be said there. Think we definitely need a refresh for our next game. Placheta, Pukki, Rupp, not offering enough. Next 5 games are Stoke, Coventry, Birmingham, Rotherham and Wycombe. That HAS to be a minimum of 13 points. Do that and we should put ourselves back in a commanding position. Tonight was massive, there's no denying that. If Brentford and Swansea win their games in hand now we'll drop down to 3rd (though I'm hopeful Boro can do to Brentford tomorrow what they did to us last week), but there's no need to press the panic button just yet. Get Emi back in, and with a full week off and an 'easier' run of games hopefully we can get back on track. Here’s their Matchday thread 😂 https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/141035-official-match-thread-v-swansea

Football fan one-eyed shocker.
| Norwich City fans reaction on 08:05 - Feb 6 with 1754 views | sP7qupUf | Most of their possession was aimless passing in the middle of the park or in front of us. When they got near the box we forced them back. If it was a boxing bout they were outboxed and could not lay a glove on us. More attempts yes, but up in row Z. Woodman had one save to make. We had more shots on targets and a stonewall penalty (and possible red card) not given. | | | |

Should have scored 2/3 at Carrow Road.

It’s frustrating that our two best performances on the road this season only yielded a point between them. At Norwich and Brentford we were magnificent. 6 points from those and their fans might just have a bit more humility .

I think the genuine fans would have it, but I have to say that the arrogance on the Brentford board is breathtaking.

They are a good side and they were better than us down here no arguments. I still say had Smith and Bennett played it would have been a much more even contest - with a fair chance of us winning. Probably two games too soon for Hourihane but at least he’s really getting into his stride now. At Brentford we were as superior to them as they were to us down here.

A lot of our fans are the polar opposite to them, we've got rubbish players, rubbish manager, rubbish owners. Also known as the SCFC Brains Trust.

Is it a Welsh thing - being overly critical, dour, downbeat and pessimistic? Like “we’re little ole Swansea” we don’t have the right to think of ourselves as equals or betters than our “masters”? Self confidence is definitely NOT a national trait

Try saying that to the Grammar School generation. I suggest you touch on a post-Thatcher mentality drummed into succeeding generations by school teachers and a MSM who succeeded in conceptualising working class victimhood.

| Norwich City fans reaction on 13:03 - Feb 6 with 1199 views | Catullus | Lets be fair though, if we had 2 days to prepare for this fixture up there but they had a week we would be saying it had an effect too. It's swings and roundabouts though, all teams get these kinds of problems through a season. I'm sure Norwich will benefit from it a few times too. It's how you deal with it that counts and as HJ (I think) said, the stats show that without Buendia they do donn't do very well. What this Norwich post doesn't take into account is that we sat back and let them do their best and they were found wanting, we dealt with the best they could throw at us, that's why we get rave reviews for our defence. It's not just a good defence when under pressure,, it's part of the match plan. It's part of how we control games. I think Thomas Frank realsed that and looked for a way to counter it and nearly succeeded. Lets hope other teams don't see it eh. | |

Just listen to the morning “news” magazine programme on radio Wales - it’s the dumbest news programme I’ve ever heard. Not a journalist among the lot of them. Shrill mindless patronising guff!
