Well look at you and CountyJim, putting the litteres to shame.Not that any of them care. In Skewen we have pretty clean streets, Coedffranc council employs litter pickers.
We had a bit of a surge in dog poo recently, putting it down to the surge in dog ownership because of lockdown.
I know I took the mick out of Jim but really speaking, you guys would be among those I referred to on the thread about pride in your country. Some people do good just for the sake of it, which is a great thing.

It says a lot about people who allow their dogs to shite on sports fields or parks.

Emailed the council a few times I'm having to put rubbish in litter bins apprantly they give out bags so you can drop them off at agreed spot once a week but I'm having no reply as yet

On the other hand assuming that McDonalds aren't dumping rubbish in the street, the scrotes dumping the stuff should be hit with the full £1,000 fine available to magistrates after being found guilty.
I regularly watch cars parked up next to rubbish bins and the occupants chuck their fast food wrappings and leftovers on the ground when it would be easier to put them in the bin.
So I'm at a bit of a loss as to why Mc Donald's or any other fast food takeaway is responsible for the actions of those chucking stuff out of their car or as they walk along a well bin provided for street. | | | |

I agree. Use CCTV, identify the scruffy gits and hit them with big fines. If they throw rubbish out of their car and then try to claim they can't afford to oay the fine in one go, take their cars as payment, auction them and give any profit back.
There are regularly several cars full of young people in a local car park, when they've gone there is always a pile of rubbish left behind. So breaking covid rules and littering but no one can do anything, it seems. | |

Spot on.
There’s lots of civic minded people who do a great work in society (CJ included) for no financial reward, just knowing it makes our communities better places. I know quite a few who want to take out but not put back in, I’d make them work for the dole. Picking up litter on beaches, cutting brambles back in cemeteries, picking up litter off the side of the road. I went for a walk the other day near our place and some ********* had dumped asbestos sheets at the side of the road. I’d jail them. | | | |
