Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? 22:25 - May 4 with 642 views | KeithHaynes | We plucked him from obscurity. Some would say another Jenkins coup. He’s in the running for Spurs, how would he do ?

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 23:30 - May 4 with 607 views | ReslovenSwan1 | He would do great in my opinion. Fast fluid football with pace. He needs good solid defenders like he has at Brighton. His defence at Brighton has been solid which is surprising given his problems at Swansea. PL teams however rely less on set pieces which was his achillles heal.

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 07:30 - May 5 with 539 views | Dr_Winston | Suspect he suffers from a bad case of Martinezitis. The inability to maintain a solid defensive line despite playing attractive stuff. That may restrict his ultimate potential as a boss if he can't get to grips with it. Might make him not ready for a job like Spurs but they'd probably be fun to watch.

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 08:43 - May 5 with 510 views | 34dfgdf54 | Yeah he would imo. There's a reason why he gets the plaudits he does from inside the game. PS - Take Doc's point but Brighton's defensive record is 7th in the Premier League. The killer for them is a clinical finisher, they create more chances than most. [Post edited 5 May 2021 8:45]

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 08:46 - May 5 with 503 views | jack247 | Depends what they want. If they are looking for top four then probably not. If they are looking for respectable finishes with an attractive playing style, I’m sure he’d do well for them.

They are a top six elitist club by their own appointment. They will want top four, then more.

Didn't realise that. Suggests he's learning, which is always a good sign. Definitely be interesting to see how he does with better players and a bigger budget.

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 11:57 - May 5 with 413 views | ReslovenSwan1 | At Brighton he has some monster defenders Dunk, Webster, Burn and White. Burn 6 ft 5 plays as the fullback. Throw in Lamptey and Veltman.

I was surprised aswell, I still think the Achilles Heel is the set pieces though. Only Man City and Chelsea have conceded less "big chances" than Brighton. He was very similar here with his sides general play defending. Not sure how reliable this stuff is, using all sorts of stats about what impact a manager has had at his club.

Then no. If they want to stay where they are, but entertain, he’d probably be a good choice. If they want to consistently finish above at least one of the Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Chelsea, not to mention Leicester and Arsenal, they probably need to look elsewhere.

From seeing the bookies odds mind you, Rodgers would be a much safer bet. Fantastic manager who has experience of players with the sort of reputation the Spurs lot have.

Brendan Rodgers is now beyond Spurs' reach. He could take any job he wanted in English football should it ever be available.

Would Potter succeed at Spurs ? on 15:04 - May 5 with 334 views | LittleEnglandJack | If given a chance I think he'd do a very decent job there. Good enough to be in serious contention for the title and/or win a major trophy? Possibly not, but he'd have them playing good stuff and scoring plenty of goals that's for sure. A lot would depend on if the likes of Kane & Son stay or whether he had to deal with a much bigger rebuild.
