For those of you who work for the council (or any other state run body).
Have you ever noticed that when you are asked to take training which helps you identify extremism (this training focuses on religious and right wing extremism) there is never a category of Left wing extremism? Are there no Left wing extremists? No Antifa. No BLM. No Communists (they stand in elections).
Why do we think this the state encourages people to identify right wing extremists and flag them up but gives a free pass to Left wing extremists?
Duscuss.

If Left wing extremism is more of a threat re: violence to person or property, enough of a threat that the police take it very seriously...then how come Council and state employees in general are trained to spot and flag up right-wing extremism and not Left wing extremism?

Interesting story for you Lohengrin, not sure if you have come across it before ?
I do remember him, Tramp. Did you catch the Channel 4 documentary on him that put forward the claim that he was about to pull the rug on nonces in high places?

I've seen a few stories, some say the powers that be at the time feared he would become leader of SNP push for independence and kick the nuclear subs out of Scotland, the bit about the Pedro ring was convenient for them to muddy the waters.
Any left wing nationalists about and the UK state are on the case big time and will do what it takes, no mucking about, the state is terrified of the left because in theory it means more power for the people and the elite want to stay in charge and line their friends and their own pockets.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

There was very little of ‘the left’ about McRae, Tramp. None at all by today’s paradigm.
Opinion on nuclear arms isn’t a left-right issue.

'Prevent' training is quite generic on radicalisation and points out that the signs and signals of being attracted to any type of extremism are broadly similar.
There are some slight encouraged focus' that are area specific that can range from county to county, for example in East Sussex there is a higher profile on right-wing radicalisation where as in Brighton and Hove it looks more at the left.

What left wing extremism is there in the uk? Please don't equate snti-establishment hooliganism with extremism.
Gwyn should be able to tell you, apparently they target it in Brighton.

...and why, in your opinion, does Swansea (which is Labour through and through) council not teach it's staff to look out for Left wing extremism when Brighton does?

Yes, what does that mean?

It means that in some areas demographic may mean people are more susceptible to being racialised to a particular cause and shouldn’t be ignored.
I've done the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove training but not the Swansea one so I don't know.

the state is terrified of the left because in theory it means more power for the people and the elite want to stay in charge and line their friends and their own pockets.
There are elites on the left too, Starmer is rich, many Labour MP's are rich, many Labour backers are rich, Alan Sugar was a big Labour backer.
Now "Power for the people" are you Wolfie in disguise? It's not true and never has been, left OR right, once they get into power they ignore the people until the next election.

Please Keith my feelings have been hurt, ban him, ban him for a week! (In my best hysterical voice)
Only joking, that would be pathetic. I’ll leave the soft headed, pathetic, cry baby, knee jerk pleas for censorship to the idiot Left.
