Not really as Abbott has so much power in London. It is her "community" that is being affecting the most. Patel is simply shyte, like Boris weak and ineffectual but like to talk the talk.

The number of stop and searches has increased by 30% in England and Wales in the last year. In London it has increased by 40% despite opposition from Sadiq Khan.

Stab someone? Life. There's no deterrent. Even if you kill someone the prison sentence is laughable. Get in these schools and let the kids know from a young age where they'll spend the rest of their lives if they grow up and engage in this nonsense. Even if it means putting thousands, or tens of thousands in prison for decades, it's worth it.

I don’t care who you really are but as a poster you are bang on the money. When the vicious are inside they can only maim their own and leave us in peace. Most can do the bird standing on their head. Let nobody believe prison is hard Their food alone is better than most pensioners in poverty and no worries about rent and bills

I'm still all for puttting an electric fence and armed guards around Anglesey and putting them all there., for life, all of it. They can survive the best way they know how. NB, Australia is not available.

Barry Island isn't really an island, There's a nice long bridge or lots of treacheroues water making Anglesey more secure. The way the world is today it'd probably become a tourist attraction!

Do you think these gangs walk down the high street with machetes and bowie knives tucked into their waistbands. They get someone else to carry them, and would dump them if they got wind of a police presence.

I am not arguing about stiffer sentences, people carrying knives like this need to be locked up but it’s not going to happen. We have a prison capacity of around 90,000 and the prisons are normally which is why people get released early on tag etc. Prisons are expensive to build and to run, it will also take years to build more prisons and quite simply it’s not a priority to the government don’t want to spend money. Some parts of our country are becoming lawless ghettos and it’s going to take a lot of effort to turn things around.

Not being personally involved, I don't know the details of how they do that.I would imagine that the police presence is so thinly spread that the chance of coming across one is rare and that they have spotters out. I believe that's what football hooligans used to do, to find the opposition and avoid the police.

Maybe we should ask why we commit so much crime. Why is crime seen as the best way to get the car, the wedge ,the bling within. It s breakdown of family unit. Too many kids with no parameters

The fact that stop and search is more likely is more of a deterrent for people to carry such weapons as a matter of course.
