| Ntcham 12:21 - Sep 26 with 1180 views | JACKMANANDBOY | Thought he looked good again yesterday at the game, kept possession really well. After watching the highlights I note that he was involved in almost all the best chances we had. [Post edited 26 Sep 2021 12:22]

I like that he seems quick of thought and deed, good reactions and skillful too. Him and Downes together are the basis of our midfield I think. We could lose Grimes and we may not notice so much, depending on Walsh.

We SHOULD lose Grimes and spend what we can get on a striker to help Piroe. Cullen can go on loan too.

If Walsh (with his particular skills set) makes the transition from league one to Championship as well as Downes has then the midfield 3 should be Downes - Ntcham - Walsh with Piroe and Obafemi up front.

Absolutely Bryn and with Ntcham in the hole linking midfield and attack, we should have Oba and Piroe up front. Not many play 2 strikers these days mind and I reckon it could catch a few out. Maybe Piroe will last the full 90 if he hasn't got to do so much up top by himself, he didn't stop running, closing down defenders out of possession but when we had possession he was making many good runs too and could have had the ball played to him more often.

Loads of teams play with a back 5 these days, and we're one of very few teams that do so with only one striker. A pairing up top isn't catching anyone out this season any more than it did last.

Indeed and one who should be already captain. He is outstanding.Skilful, committed and brave as well as motivating in a way Grimey cannot and has not. Another we need to give an extended deal to right now.

| Ntcham on 16:22 - Sep 27 with 672 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | I like the fact he's not afraid to play risky passes forward. I found it amusing on Saturday seeing him pick the ball up on the half way line near the dug-out, where we could see Russell Martin pointing backwards. Ntcham instead played a long ball forward. Hopefully his actions encourage others to do similar when an opportunity presents itself. [Post edited 27 Sep 2021 16:22]

Not for me either, at the moment, need to see much more from him, if he can stay fit hopefully we will.

That depends on the pair, I reckon if Ntcham and Oba are properly fit, Ntchams willingness to get forward and Oba's pace will catch a few out. Piroe's movement will help make space and if he keeps winning flick ons and nod downs there could be positive outcomes.
