I won’t pay to watch the Rugby nor will I pay for boxing or Champions League games, they can do one.

Wales Autumn Rugby internationals on 20:15 - Oct 12 with 1097 views | onehunglow | Well recently I watched one of the greatest of games with the Bokke just edging the Blacks. All sports can be boring so necks need to be wound in. Recall the boredom of Cooper,of tedious game of cricket and meaningless gold tournaments. Jeez,we have many who creme themselves over horse racing . It's sport. I like it. Those who find Union boring ,watch RL.

Wales Autumn Rugby internationals on 22:23 - Oct 12 with 1047 views | max936 | I was enjoying the Ospreys v Chiefs game last friday, until the Ospreys fell asleep in the 2nd half, this insistence on constantly kicking ball away from rucks and scrums when it's clearly not working, is p.....g me off big time.

We actually stopped amazon prime yesterday. Not in protets at the rugby mind. We've been buying a lot online and we saved money on delivery. Look at what PPV has done for football, it's made it all about the money, players demanding obscene pay because they really think they are worth 100k (and often lots more) per week. Clubs that then start looking at ways to make even more money and for what? So they can pay bang averag players 60-70 k per week. Will rugby go the same way? If all the extra tv money was used to keep ticket prices down, to improve the sport at grass roots and to help people then great, but it's not, it's just about greed.

Wales Autumn Rugby internationals on 14:08 - Oct 13 with 884 views | MrSwerve | All sports will be PPV in the not too distant future. When Wimbledon goes, that'll be the end of it. I've got my ticket for the SA game, not been to a rugby international for a couple of years now due to Covid. Can't wait for a great day out and a bit of a knees up, it's been a long time coming.

Well that's up to people to stop paying for these services Steve Thing is Clubs like Swansea who've been in premier League and other championship clubs are getting millions from sky BT etc So if people did stop buying packages then the money dries up It's a thorny subject , me personally I don't have sky package I'll watch free stuff on sky mix I get BT sport as part of my virgin package but could live without it I go and watch sport that's the best way to enjoy imo I'm a big cricket fan for me you can't beat the atmosphere of listening to the radio except being there

The money is a double edged sword though Jim. Until sky money and the Premier league carve up clubs could genuinely aspire to getting promoted, staying up AND to beating the big clubs. Now many clubs find promotion can be a bad thing. They try to stay up and build up financial commitments that bring their houses crashing down on being relegated. Then there's the cost to households. If you love sport, to watch now you need Sky sports, BT sports, Amazon Prime and even then you have to pay extra for premium events. The Fury/Wilder boxing recently was another £25 wasn't it? The Joshua fight was £20. Is the rugby free on Amazon or another premium PPV event. All these things can cost you hundreds every year where it used to be free to air. We're told all this extra choice is good, that competition makes things cheaper but does it ever make anything cheaper?

Fine and I dispute the 90%.Where you get that from. You can never know how deep people are into it. People are into drugs and it's no good for them. Gambling is a curse and as much a disease as alcoholism if not controlled and control is relative. Why risk losing family money hoping to win a few quid that is not earned. The whole concept of betting is base . Horse Racing is still seen as an essential industry mainly as those running it are filthy rich made so by the dumbbucks that chuck their money away in hope. We see animals born/bred for the amusement and entertainment and its 2021 and we allow this.We even see the posh in designer gear and top hats and tails or the plebs in rented suits and party dresses only to get smashed out of their skulls whilst losing their money apart from the money they've spent to get into the Course. We are truly nuts

Wales Autumn Rugby internationals on 17:44 - Oct 13 with 824 views | Dr_Winston | As with most things in life, gambling is fine in moderation. Most people will happily have a flutter on the Lottery, or the Grand National. A small proportion of them develop a problem. Same as alcohol and yes, the majority of recreational drugs. If people don't approve, then they're free not to partake themselves. Spare us the tedious moralising. They're not going anywhere.

Agree, however a lot of fault goes to the idiots who pay for the PPV, if everyone stopped doing so just for a period of time PPV would cease, sadly many of these people will say what I am saying is wrong because the fighters will not get payed which is wrong as they will still get a fair sum from the site fees and broadcasting fees, granted it may be a couple of Mill less but considering Fury and Wilder for eg earned over 90 Mill butween them at the weekend half that amount more than sets them up for life financially and the promoters will only get what they deserve instead of lining there pockets with millions from money the idiots give in PPV fees.

The Ospreys, although I should say The Pro 14 rugby tournament is on Premier Sports that's another outlet to pay for.

We got Now TV it's ok, but there's no way I'll pay £100+ a month for the Sky package, I take my chances with streaming some of the stuff I want to watch, hit and miss on times, but still.

Wales Autumn Rugby internationals on 22:03 - Oct 13 with 713 views | pikeypaul | amazon prime in my view is brillant value for money. next day deliver included in the price is worth £7.99 alone, let alone access to listen to and download millions of tunes on amazon music. Thats before anything they put on the screen, although that does not matter when you have a good reliable IPTV provider that gives you access to everything. Works out at about the cost of 2 pints, so good luck with going to the pub to save the £7.99 amazon want for the month. [Post edited 13 Oct 2021 22:10]

Yep, Amazon Prime is excellent value. The unlimited next day delivery is worth the £7.99 alone, before you look at all of the other stuff that is included - music, Prime movies (increasingly sports), etc, etc.
