An empire that the sun never set on. Not bad for a little country and a small population. Didn’t 30,000 British run India who at the time had a population of 300 million. Rule Britannia 🇬🇧👠

Churchill was remains hated by the Indians after the atrocities that was carried out. Many in India and China don't like us because of the English leaders actions in those countries over the years. My advice is to tell them we are Welsh and don't support the Empire. [Post edited 24 Dec 2021 10:38]

What's more many Welsh lads served in Ireland so maybe you'd better be rather more circumspect when you denigrate people. Your IRA heroes were criminals using folk for criminal purposes. Get over it

| Hong Kong on 12:50 - Dec 24 with 1697 views | trampie | The UK is by and large run by English people due to weight of numbers, the sentiment of the English is often very different to the sentiment of those from the Celtic lands. IRA are no heroes of mine, I'm Welsh, not English, not Irish but Welsh, capishe. | |

How strange that being ‘in charge’ of other humans is something to be proud of ? Its the killing and robbing that enabled it that you might want to focus on. Worth giving the Bengal famine a quick google … The Indians kicked the Brits out, the Americans kicked the Brits out, the Irish kicked the Brits out… guess what Cymru should do to join the modern world. The welsh have never voted to join the uk, remember that. ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡º

Kicking the Brits out would involve kicking ourselves out of our own country. Strange thing to want....or to say.

I knew nobody in all my 26 years in Swansea that would countenance Wales breaking away from UK. We are and were seen as almost irrelevant to the rest of the UK and known really only for coal mines and rugby. 100 year ago,Wales could have justified Independence but we are a fractured country with a language issue that divides and a north south divide greater than that which is found in England. The Covis and utterly different from Cardiffians and east Wales so different from west. Plenty of people I knew worked in the Colonial Department and we were the best colonials of the lot.Speak to a Congolese about the Belgians. We aint a bad Kingdom
