I bet United won’t be pleased. He was playing as first choice for us. We were/are crying out for experience and leadership all over the pitch, Christie certainly seems to be one. Naughton, Downes and Manning two others.
A definite blessing for us so Christie all day for me. Pity we let Bidwell go as he’s a definite leader type and we’ve definitely suffered without him. Here’s hoping the new lad does a Downes and takes the step up as the chance it is for him and excels. |  |
