or there. I see other clubs naming roads around their grounds after player and that and maybe that's something the club could work on in future with the council. Add a bit of history around the place if you will.

I'd prefer that idea. Might get some pushback from the Hairsprays though. They're already an afterthought there. Surrounding their "home" stadium with roads named after footballers won't help. |  |

That's the thing and some of the roads like Neath road, Cwm level, Siloh etc. have always been there and to change them to Leon Britton street for example I could understand the disgruntlement. Plus I'm sure the Egg would have something to say about it also. Council would probably use that as a defense 'Can't do it unless we have equal rugby player representation' | |

No, Resloven’s right, Killy. It’s impossible to overstate Brunel’s importance to our industrial heritage. The man was a genius, and I don’t throw that description around lightly; and I say that as somebody who adores Alan Curtis.
There’s new building work going on constantly right across the Bay area. There’s plenty of opportunity to name something in his honour. The whole of west Glamorgan and beyond would love to see it happen. [Post edited 25 Apr 2022 13:48]

I have no idea but it wouldn't be cheap! It would have to be full size though, if it gets done it has to be done properly!

Our American owners might gain some brownie points with us older fans if they give a proper nod to our history, how about naming the away end the "Allchurch stand"? Why not rename the riverside bar "Herbie's"
