You might be correct to be worried but i must respectfully disagree with Garrick, Whittaker Joseph all have talent statement. They might hopefully go on to prove me wrong but i cant see any of them in a top ten/playoff Championship side. How has RM shafted Downes when there is a list of potential buyers, if you mean playing out of position you may have a point but i think he could make a fantastic attacking CH. Garrick played 50 games last season scored 7 goals with 8 assists and played wingback winger and centre forward, He has been at Swansea for 7 years. He claims to be as quick as Dan James is six foot and getting physically stronger. He was lowly rated because of persistent injury issues. He is on a n upward trajectory where as Jospeh Whtittaker and Cullen have a lot to prove. |  |

Bought for a million or so as a part of Martin’s signing for the swans.
Now potentially going for around 9.
Rose to recognition as a result of Martin’s way of inspiring players to feel free in their own skin and play football.
Talent grown mate, proving the manager knew exactly what he was talking about back then when he encouraged the signing so he could sign. I see no negatives just positives in the process which also now includes identifying talent ( none of us knew who he was before last August )
It proves to me how good a coach RM is.
Edit : Joseph, Whittaker and Garrick were already endorsed by Cooper as loans for last season before Martin arrived. You will have to take that as fact from me.

In this case though, it seems a win, win to me. We have the cash to fill a hole and we have a decent replacement, Stoke's best player by all accounts.
