| Those not to bothered about Wales (football) on 09:50 - Sep 21 with 1456 views | STID2017 | This international break represents the build up to the first WC tournament involving Wales most of us have been lucky to see. Not sure how any Welsh Swans supporter cannot be bothered about Wales in the forthcoming matches ? | |

Morning. A decent riposte After wading through Builthy's contributions here's where I am I want Wales to win every game but it is not the same as the Swans;not remotely so. In my lifetime,I have seen players like Pat Van Den Hauwe staining the shirt and Vincent Jones wearing the captain's armband .Ive seen players ,about as Welsh as my dog wearing the shirt so let's nail that pride in the shirt for a start. Players often can CHOOSE what country they play for. Ergo, not good enough for England but I 'll play for Wales. Cardiff is the capital of Wales but few Swansea people would want them to beat the opposition,ANY opposition so the WELSH mantra played to death on here dies on this vine. Swansea City represents Swansea.Im not that bothered about that many places in Wales ,like Cardiff ,Newport and Merthyr. I am concerned about my home town team this year and fear a relegation possibility and frankly I have little left for Wales games. This year sees us ,along with other nations ,at a filthy middle east country that treated the workers who built the stadiums like slaves;many died but it's ok---we ore off to Qatar to support the boys. Nobody should be going to Qatar and it makes us all hypocrites, none of us should ever opine about racism ,homophobia or diversity when we are prepared to !support! our team there. If we are that concerned about human rights then we should have boycotted it.We haven't so we are no different to any other competing country. Thanks for the reply anyway

Honesty at last I am certain you do not hate Welsh people too. It is also the case man many in England are not bothered at all about England but are passionate about the Reds/Blues/Toon/Mackems/Villa/Spurs and various Uniteds Grown men boasting about drinking alcohol to excess makes me rather sad. As for Nations Cup,I mean really. Wales winning the World Cup or Swansea City promoted to the Premier League? I understand those from small towns and villages ,isolated and having nothing there of sporting interest wanting to be part of a Club's fan base though as it gives a sense of belonging. It's why Cardiff has so many fans from the old mining villages

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

What a pathetic post. Both Swansea and Cardiff fans want Wales to win. Likewise, the majority of Spurs, West Ham, Chelsea etc want England to win. It’s not rocket science.

Not too messy yet. Brussels in about an hour and a half. Now that could get messy

As you leave the airplane at Schipol and reach the Concourse one simply takes the elevator to the fantastic train system which is super fast to Rotterdam ,Antwerpen and Brussels . It’s a double decker mega quick service .A doddle which shame our system . I miss not going to The Hague any more

Paraphrased - Want Wales to win but the Swans is much more important. That probably goes for most of us on here to be honest. I’m still really looking forward to the World Cup though.

Yeah this, I want Wales to win and I'll watch every game, probably. it won't get my pulse racing though, I'll be happy if we win but I won't be upset like I used to get over football if it's a bad result.

Read it again. CRdiff is capital of Wales. Therefore, with your logic you should support Cardiff against any opposition as they are Capital City of your country. It’s pretty basic logic . .
