It should be scrapped and let fans make their own way on the stadium in my opinion.

Not going to happen either way , new generation of hot heads and some not so young will see to that

We always have gone to Cardiff under our own steam.
Even drinking in a Cardiff pub.
That's life eh.
You were invited last time out.

You mean the home bubble match?
I guess that some can't behave themselves so plod insist on it being a bubble.

Sadly would result in carnage.
Too many idiots ( young and old) from both sets of supporters to allow it to happen.
I would love it as haven't been to a Derby at Cardiff in far too many years.
Last time I watched Swansea in Cardiff was the Cup win against Carlisle and even that was tainted by hooliganism

They are a stain on welsh football.
Silly old bald men who can’t even hold a pint properly.
Keep them safe, stick with the bubble.

OK I've changed it.

Yes maybe we need another 20 years until those around the 50 mark now have long gone?
There will always be idiots following both clubs though, maybe not regularly but they will show up for this game which is a shame, more so down your way maybe? I’m not so sure the 20 somethings down this way are even bothered by football and definitely not agro. Think Wales games help build bridges but wonder if more could be done……

I really don’t understand it. Maybe because I was brought up watching rugby, hatred between our teams never made sense.

You didn't watch Swansea v Llanelli in the 60s early 70s.

Are you sure about that? The toilet cleaners at Bristol might have differing opinions

Lets not forgot that the troublemakers make up an incredibly small minority of any club, probably around 1% of the fans in there.
Its sad and pathetic seeing grown men bounce around trying to cause aggro. If they all really wanted to fight so much go and do it away from all the sensible folk.

Considering I wasn’t born till 1979 it may have proven a tad difficult.

Doesn’t that answer the question though ? How long ago was that ?

I still think has you pointed out , another 20 years , yes Wales games have changed things so much and the national team success..
But they would crawl out of the woodwork for this if it was a free for all travel wise..

The police could not control Bristol city on the last visit to the Swansea stadium ..
It ended with scurmishes outside harvester and the club shop because the police could not control them and Force them down the bypass

That was a bit of a one off and they were mainly kids from the valleys not Cardiff allegedly. Smashing up anything is a pretty low score for hoolie behaviour, akin to throwing glasses and chairs or having a go at stewards maybe? Going away late 80’s/early 90’s it was deemed as quite cool with the gear, on the train railcard, 200 of us all young. It must be the un coolest thing to do ever now bar admitting your a Tory….I’d imagine if the police were bothered they would let “something” occur just to lock up 50 or so and ban a few for 10 years like they’ve done in the past. You gotta be nuts to do that these days as you will lose your Liberty and god knows what else for a good stretch.
We’ve all done stupid stuff, thank god there were no mobiles in many aspects of life circa 88-93
