The deal to rid the Swans of Michael Obafemi has been agreed with Burnley and it has to be said it’s a decent agreement between the two clubs. People have been asking why would the Swans do this, and why not just sell him ? 1

A way of spreading cost. They expect to be in the PL next season so it defers a large sum this season.
Once in the Premier League I can see Obafemi loaned back into the Championship.

I hope he does well. He seems a really nice likeable guy and he’s a hard worker on the pitch. Obviously he’s guaranteed to score millions of goals when he plays us as every ex player always scores against us.
