The first president to face criminal charges then. No doubt he will find a way to use it to his advantage.

The majority of the world know the score with him, he is beyond belief and the cherry on the cake is that he has been US president.

The world's a joke and it's people like Trump who have led the charge for the joke the world finds itself in.

Scary isn’t it, they have gone full fascist mode.

Imagine the carnage if Trump did this to Hilary over the emails or Biden over the Burisma thing, far worse than paying Stormy Daniels 140k to not sell her story.

The amazing thing is all those celebrating who are usually the first to call “fascism” at the drop of a hat.

Politically motivated legal actions should be opposed at every level.

I told you before, it's not about him paying Daniels, its about the fraud he perpetuated to make that payment.

You have a blind spot where Trump is concerned.

Politics is a dirty game and any politician will use any means to bring a rival down, whichever country you are in.

It’s low level nonsense, you know that is the case, but your partisan stance against him stops you from admitting this is politically motivated.

I have no blind spot, it’s due to that fact I’m able to see this for what it is.

I’d be fully behind it if there was as much desire to go after the likes of Clinton, Pelosi and Biden. But of course it’s selective.

Political fascism is far more concerning to our way of life than paying off Stormy Daniels.

Daft thing is it’ll embolden him. His whole campaign is based on grievance and this will only help.

Those who say it’s all a media witch hunt need to look in the mirror and Trumps tactics.

He could run on some of the undoubted successes of his tenure but he doesn’t. He relies on the big lie of the election steal and calling people silly names.

He’s playing the media game too but in a different way that’s probably cleverer.

That’s like saying we shouldn’t a sign a striker who scored 60 goals last year because he thinks his best attribute is defending in his pre signing meeting.

What he talks about is irrelevant, it’s his performance as President that matters and it’s unquestionably the best in decades.

My Partisan stance, did I not say on another thread that it could be politically motivated but if they can use the law to get him then why not?

It's not a federal court though is it, it's the Manhattan district attorney's office pressing charges.

Of course it's selective, too many powrful people hate Trump but if he broke the law he has no arguments besides the one you use, they should go after the others too.

It's definitely not low level nonsense, again it's not about Stormy Daniels, it's about financial fraud that may have breached electoral rules.

I did ask if you had evidence about Pelosi, if you posted any I missed it but all I saw was allegations with nothing substantial to prove them.
The Clintons are both as bad as each other and should be locked up.

Funny though that you wouldnt think it low level nonsense if they went after the others you named too, that proves it's not nonsense, just selective because many powerful people hate Trump.

Lastly, if I was behaving like you and rabidly defending one person while attacking hos opposite number I suppose it would be Partisan BUT as I am also critical of Biden and Harris, I am ot a supportr of either person or their party then I can hardly be partisan by any definition of it. Whereas you are obviously partisan towards Trump as you continually defend him whilst attacking those who oppose him.

Of course it’s low level nonsense, it’s listed as a misdemeanour. Even if found guilty the jail time is unlikely, that’s the level of ‘crime’ we are talking about here.

So if as you appear to agree, it’s politically motivated and selective - then that is fascism. Fascism is a far bigger threat to everyone’s values and way of life than paying Stormy Daniels and listing it as a legal expense.

I showed you the Pelosi stuff, it’s not even up for debate. Your evidence that Pelosi did nothing wrong was a 300k loss in one trade, but failed to show the $24m gained by investing in companies Pelosi was just about to apportion massive grants to. Nancy of course claims she never talks about her job with her husband and it’s just a coincidence.

Course it is Nance.

I am rabid supporter of fairness, common sense and democracy. I was among the first to state I don’t believe election fraud on the scale being suggested. I have no issues in saying these kinds of things.

On this politically motivated case however, it’s the fascism that screams the loudest, far louder than any payment to a porn star. Low level fruit.

A misdemeanor is still a crime and can attract up to 12 months in prison.

It's really funny that you are describing a criminal act as low level nonsense. To me low level nonsense is drunk and disorderly, a financial fraud is hardly low level.

Where have you seen that it's a misdemeanor then? Because all I can find is that he could be charged with either a misdemeanor OR a felony but as of 2 hours ago the indictment has not been unsealed so it's not yet clear what he is charged with?

Naughty Dr P, I suspect you have been conservative with the truth, or is that lying by omission? It could be a genuine mistake but I believe you are more pernickety than that.

Lets see what hes charged with eh but it's not low level nonsense even if a misdemeanor.

So is excessively speeding, as I said - it’s low level nonsense designed to take out a political rival. It’s fascism.

What things are “to you” doesn’t matter, it’s openly considered low level in the courts. Just the mildest of Google skills will inform you of that without me having to teach you.

“In New York, falsifying business records can amount to a crime, albeit a misdemeanour.”

https://www.nytimes.com/articl

Why is me stating that fact “naughty”? Do you mean inconvenient to your narrative?

As I said, it’s low level nonsense, designed for political reasons not legal ones.

Actually what is naughty is you stating something as fact that you cannot possibly know. Until the arraigment when the indictment is read out there is no way of knowing what Trump is charged with.

it could be a misdemeanor but it could be a felony. So claiming low level nonsense about something you cannot possibly know for a fact is naughty, it's basically lying.

This link says he is charged with 30 counts of business fraud,

https://uk.style.yahoo.com/don

And this link says that if it were an an E felony the punishment is much greater.

https://www.new-york-lawyers.o

From the link above,

"The most common penalties for fraud in New York are associated with grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument, forgery, falsifying business records, and identity theft. Such crimes range from misdemeanors to felony crimes."

Untl we know what he is charged with then claiming it is definitely a misdemeanor is naughty, disingenuous at best, lying at worst and that iis definitely low level nonsense.

So you messed up by calling me naughty then I take it:

You told me the charges, you said it was regarding the payment to a porn star and filing it falsely. That’s a low level misdemeanour, if proven to be a felony then it’s a low level felony too. All just nonsense designed politically.

E felonies are to do with fraudulently stealing, usually to do with false cheques and such like. Trump didn’t steal anything, he simply filed a payment under “legal fees”. Which it can be argued it is, extortion is a legal matter.

Until we know the charges then you probably shouldn’t be telling people what they are in an attempt to make it sound bad, only to realise it isn’t and then blame me for informing you.

Come on now Cat, you are experienced enough to know I tear nonsense apart with ease. Don’t keep teeing it up for me, it will only annoy you.

Either way it’s low level nonsense.

No I didn't mess up. Typical of you to try and spin an argument when you get trounced.

First up I didn't tell you the charges merely what trump was accused of, I couldn't tell you the charges because the indictment is still sealed.

Secondly an E felony,

Falsifying Business Records
If the person is also falsifying business records in the process at a business, that is an E felony with penalties of between one and a third to four years.

It is important to recognize that when the dollar amount is used as a means to figure out what the total punishment should be, the law allows prosecutors to aggregate, meaning to add up all the transactions together. This process can make the penalties associated with a New York fraud charge much more serious.

Therefore, if the person stole from their employer, falsified checks, and embezzled, each check from the employer will be added up to make the total.

Thirdly, you are the one claiming it was amisdemeanor as a fact and in your own words,

"Of course it’s low level nonsense, it’s listed as a misdemeanour. Even if found guilty the jail time is unlikely, that’s the level of ‘crime’ we are talking about here."

When clearly you cannot know he's charged with a misdemeanor, you made it up to try and force your argument home and you failed.

I'll repea this, I haven't stated what the charges are but merely what they arerelated to, the fraudulent filing of accounts re the payment to Stormy Daniels.

When the indictment is read out, then we will know the charges.

It doesn't matter how much you blather and bluster over this, until we hear the indictment we dont know the charges and you are the one very clearly in the wrong here.
Put another way, you've been posting nonsense in your partisan defence of Trump and I've torn you apart.

You described it for me, you specifically said it was surrounding fraud in terms of how the payment was filed. That’s a low level misdemeanour.

Now I’ve taught you that, you want to walk back what you claimed in the hope it’s some other “worse” charges.

Ahhh how very normal for you.

First up yet AGAIN, I didn't tell you what the charges are, I told you what they relate to. Theyrelate to the payment to Stormy Daniels and the way he filed that payment in his accounts.

Seondly, AGAIN, I posted the link that clearly states what trump did could be an E Felony so you are wrong, AGAIN.

Third, you haven't taught me anything, you just keep posting the same nonsense over and over in the hope that because you keep posting it, it makes it true. Newsflash junior, although I am repeating myself AGAIN, we don't know the charges yet so we don't know if he's charged with a misdemeanor or a felony.

I didn't run away either and no matter how many times you try that it will always be wrong, I made my point and said goodnight because I went to bed, a good nights sleep helps you think more clearly, you should try it.

Other posters have put you on ignore, not because you schooled them but just because you are so repetitively boring. You post the same things over and over in the mistaken belief that having the last word makes you right. Other posters have better things to do, as do I which is why I log off, not because you schooled me but because I am not so determined to have the last word.

Obviously I can tear an ornage apart but you're right, I couldn't tear you apart because I don't touch lemons, they irritate the cuts on my hands from a good days work, though an irritant is easily dealt with.

Now then, lets wait and see what Trump is charged with, or you can carry on with your pointless waffle, I have a feeling I know what it will be.

Now the second half is nearly here.

Toy throwing, stamping of feet, good grief you have a hgh opinion of yourself don't you. Or is it more to the pint that you cannot argue against what I said so you resort to your usual nonsense, childish, demeaning posts

Nothing you have ever posted has made me angry. Maybe the truth is I got under your skin eh?

Why is it when you post it's logic and common sense even but when others post it's a rant? A rant is angry and my post wasn't angry.

I haven't decided on a version, I have related the reason why the charges are brought, it's you who has claimed a version, you call it low level nonsense and a misdemeanor which as I have pointed out might easily not be the case.

That is the lie you have told, you demand it's a misdemeanor when you cannot know. AGAIN, when the indictment is read out, we will know what the crime is. That is not a version, it's a fact.

Somebody who puts so much effort into bigging yourself up on here, well an analyst would have a field day. You probably suffer from low self esteem, are quite shy and awkward in social settings but you likely over compensate in work and have been warned about your conduct. You demean others to bolster your own self confidence and it's probably a defence mechanism to pritect your fragile ego.
In the long run, this type of behavior can be detrimental to interpersonal relationships, and you may struggle to form meaningful connections with others. This arrogance and tendency to demean others can cause others to view you in a negative light, and you may lose respect and admiration from those around you.

That last bit is clear to see on here.

There is nothing to argue about.

I told you this is low level nonsense (which it is). Your partisan nature regarding American politics couldn’t accept that so went out of your way to state that it was “fraud”.

I then taught you that even if it was proven, it’s still low level nonsense. After realising that even after you added what you believed was a bad spin on the sentence - it’s still a low level incident, you pulled the pin and started crying about nobody knowing the exact charges.

Well, the charges you insinuate and the charges being talked about with regards to this case as we know - is low level nonsense.

Now I understand that annoys you, just like the left wing insurrection in THREE Capitol buildings that you haven’t once condemned - but these shall remain as facts whether you like them or not. As will your overnight exposure to all your left wing bias which you have denied for so long.

Your last paragraph, which is a cry for help let’s be honest, is cute. Predictable and poorly thought out, but cute.

To be clear, I dismantle morons and ideologues, all with absolute ease and a panache that has clearly got your blood boiling, I will allow you to decide which of the two categories you fall under.

You are out of your depth, again.

Trump indicted on 18:14 - Apr 1 by SullutaCreturned

I don’t know why you bother to be honest, he might be a tidy guy in real life, but on here he often comes across as someone who’s got an opinion on everything and who thinks he’s always right. I’ll probably hit the ignore feature.
