As much as I can see where you’re coming from, 3 of our 5 goals - both Yates goals at home and Ashbys yesterday - have been exactly what he described before the season started. Getting the ball forward quicker whilst still playing decent football.
Chances created like they have been few and far between, 5 goals in 4 games isn’t enough and 2 points from 12 is nowhere near enough, but that just about gives me enough hope that he does know what he’s doing and it will eventually come good.
We just need to do it a lot more often. | | | |

As much as I can see where you’re coming from, 3 of our 5 goals - both Yates goals at home and Ashbys yesterday - have been exactly what he described before the season started. Getting the ball forward quicker whilst still playing decent football.
Chances created like they have been few and far between, 5 goals in 4 games isn’t enough and 2 points from 12 is nowhere near enough, but that just about gives me enough hope that he does know what he’s doing and it will eventually come good.
We just need to do it a lot more often. |

Although I thought this year was going to be one where we’d be around the top 6-8 and looking for a play off position, I think now we need to regard this season as one if consolidation and learning how to play a different brand if football. It’s going to take time so patience is the key here. |  |

The team is not very good.
Pep would struggle to get results with the squad.
Young loan signings can be exciting but at best 50% may be a hit for us.
Teams which will do well in this league are those who have signed established players and know the division.
Our squad is lacking experience and leadership.
I hope results improve. Maybe Kaplan will visit and have a chat with the manager. It worked in March! | | | |

Morning Whitey
For me it’s a case of anxiety in us as a fan base .
Real fans get anxious and it’s because they care .If they aren’t ,they are not fans . That’s my assessment.
Moreover,it is all bout degrees.
Low anxiety ranging to ( with apologies to Mel Brooks)High Anxiety.
When folk are anxious ,they react abnormally so I don’t always accept the definition bounded about as to what or who are real fans.
In fact,that talk sickens me to the core .
My view regarding the previous coach remain regarding divisiveness and this is what we are seeing. It doesn’t help Duffers exactly. We are still suffering the effects of his tenure and I’m sure Duff realises he has a tougher job than he thought initially. He doesn’t look happy and that’s good ,to me as we are not winning and no coach doesn’t want to win .
Some folk need to quit blowing smoke up their backsides .
We are in trouble when apathy reigns and we all feel the same way . | |

To be competitive? Finish mid-table? Make a profit? Stability on/off the pitch for three years?
They need to manage the fans expectations. This club is no longer in the same bracket as Leeds/Southampton/Norwich/Leicester. We were but we no longer are. | | | |

It’s not hard to imagine us going back to ‘Swansea way’ in a year or two, just with a Duff assembled squad full of athletes who play percentages and keep their shape. | | | |

Exactly, what we were missing last year was a decent right back and some pace up front to beat a defender and be more effective on the break.
Things have changed in that we now have Key and Ginnelly, but now need to replace Ntcham, Manning and Piroe.
But the principles should be the same. |  |
