I would so love to be proved wrong, but for the life of me I do not see what Levien and Kaplan see in Coleman. Walk around the club and there seems to be an air of comfortable malaise about the place -it's screaming out for some dynamic leadership and I cannot see that ever coming from our present chairman. I would so love to be proved wrong, but for the life of me I do not see what Levien and Kaplan see in Coleman. He has barely had time to do anything. His first appointment did not work too well but he has clearly set out his ambitions. I am an optimist and expect him to deliver.
If he does not he is 'leaving on a jet plane' to quote John Denver. It is a big deal for him. Gude is a specialist in corporate culture. "Comfortable malaise" is not on the menu.
If there is a 'comfortable malise' then a few collars need to be felt and a few redundancy notices issued to follow Duff out of the door. |  |

The redundancies you speak of need to be right at the very top, so far they have not been impressive and cost the club a fortune. |  | | |

Great song, John Denver version is good but the Peter Paul and Mary version is in my opinion on another level. The song always brings a tear to my eye as it reminds me of a road and jet trip my late brother and I made to the US many years ago. We played this song and Warren Zevon’s Warewolves of London on the jukebox at the pub we made our local. Great days. [Post edited 15 Dec 2023 0:12]
