| Denmark v Wales : Match thread Nations League 11:54 - Sep 26 with 3011 views | ModeratorC | Wales will take on Denmark at the 38,190 capacity Parken Stadium on Sunday as both nations look for their first points of this new UEFA Nations League campaign. The stadium was built in 1992 and is home to FC Copenhagen as well as the Denmark national team and replaced the Idrætspark Stadium that had hosted previous fixtures between these two nations. At EURO 2020, the stadium hosted the three Group B fixtures involving Denmark as well as the R16 tie between Spain and Croatia. (FAW) Denmark pre match : Wales must go looking for three points today ? 27th Sep 2026 15:22The Red Wall have already gathered in vast numbers in Copenhagen this afternoon, many staying in Malmo which incredibly is much cheaper than the Danish capital. We have many of our Indy subscribers there plus the usual Swansea Independent faces we see so often away with Wales. 0

The performance is about par for the squad we are capable of putting out. I expect nil pois from this group. Anything above would be great. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Well, I will have my say Goalkeeper pitiful Defence? One goal scored when seven in front of the ball How many shots did we have ? It’s ok for Llanwrst Utd fans to follow Wales to Copenhagen for a weekend but folk must be bored dhitkess on their lives with nothing else to do than support that dross It’s no wonder so few Swansea Cardiff flags are visible as we have most sense Next up Erling Harland Get this meaningless shite out of the way and let’s get back to watching a Welsh team kick arse that makes us proud Let’s be honest, this is a diversion, a distraction and an inconvenience Nobody was hurt in the making of these comments

Totally agree, although I can imagine your chuckle brothers mates won’t be happy with you saying that. No doubt saying Wales are crap will result in some anti Welsh ideology

It’s not meaningless though is it. We’ve already had a World Cup play off through our nations league performances, plus if we did ok in this edition (we clearly aren’t going to of course, but that’s not the point), it would help our seeding for the next euro qualifiers, plus almost guarantee a euro finals play off if we mess up qualifying, which is doubly important as the finals are being held over here. That’s pretty important as far as I’m concerned. I want to see my country in major tournaments, and also I want to see them do well in this competition for the reasons mentioned.

Agreed ,what does he do Why he was selected ,let alone stayed on the pitch for an hour is beyond me me , I can’t see what he brings to the team He had 1 good game against North Macedonia as far as I’ve seen And as you say ,has had millions spent on him I must be missing something

Well it is to me I said it’s my opinion We are seen as pretty much irrelevant in world football Occasionally , an outstanding player comes along and we qualify for something , like Bale To qualify for a tournament where we are perceived to be cannon fodder is something Zi find insulting as Zi don’t like my country losing So, we see matters differently My priority is Swansea City and anything that gets in the way annoys me It’s not a matter of hate either It’s not Welsh bashing Merely preferring the club of your town , the one that brought you to football on the first place Internationally , Swansea has always been shat upon Doesn’t help to see Swansea haters like Ledleu spouting shite

Well i don’t like my country losing either, especially when it’s as poor as it has been this week, and I find losing at international level horrible, but won’t stop me watching & wanting us to be competitive and relatively successful. I still disagree that this competition is meaningless, but at the same time if you think differently, then that’s your prerogative of course. This competition has helped us to qualify in the past, so for a country like ours, it’s pretty important I think.

That’s a thorouly decent response , the sort that is part and parcel of discourse on sport The fact I view matters differently is not important Bottom Line for me is the Swans

Yeah it’s different strokes for different folks mate. Just a shame about the performances this week. Let’s just hope the Swans can carry on where we left off before the break, & maybe we can actually enjoy this season a bit lol

Bloody marvellous exchange Frankly 77 Anfield was my first ever Wales game I never got over it Then the Jock stein game Then Bodins penalty Not forgetting that appalling Yugoslave robbery game I m also not keen on mixing with Emlyn and Emrys from Llanwrst and of course any Capitol cock from Llanrumney It’s just me

I was in Copenhagen for the game and with the exception of the actual match had a great time with a mixture of fans from all over Wales who are very passionate about their country. Emlyn and Emrys are well btw and send you their love.... I assume from your comments you have never been to a Wales away game as there is generally a good vibe with the exception of a few bluebird fans who still think Cardiff actually is Wales. Bellamy was taking pelters and will not last much longer in my opinion, he might still have the players onside but not the fans based on the reactions before and after the game.

Well good for you I actually have been to a Wales away game Were you around in the 70s Did you chew the cud with our Cardiff cousins , the ones that ritually toss barbs at every occasion As I say , it not fit me I’m honest ,I say how I feel no matter what others might think
