Just been told by the same person who told me that we were going to interview Sampaoli and Bielsa 3 weeks before that actually happened, the following:
- Curt very interested in JDG and a deal is done in principle
- Sinclair likely to come back!!!
- The deal for the Lazio player is also close to be done
....but wait for it, Montero to Watford for £11M....depends on the above
Could be bollox but who knows

Can't see Villa wanting to get rid of SS when they're deeper in the mire than we are.
And he can at least score and he tries in games. Don't remember him stopping to pull his socks up when a player was jogging past him.

JDG would be a welcome addition. He knows the way we play, the tempo, and quite a few of the players. He has his weaknesses but they are out-weighed by his strengths IMO. Just what we need to keep us ticking over possession.
Sinclair - No thanks, he's gone backwards.
Lazio player - Don't know much about him but he's had positive reviews and is liked at Lazio. Can play across the front line but not sure i'd want him as a CF/main striker. Winger yes, without doubt.

I honestly think it will be beyond stupid. Getting rid of Montero and bringing in Sinclair would be a downgrade of epic proportions. Profit or not it's craziness, we need to move forward not backwards. Sinclair is a good championship player, poor premier league player.
I was a fan of JDG, but I would say hes exactly the player you would NOT need in a relegation battle.
