Everton - Bradley Lowery

Not Swansea related but what a gesture by Everton today pledging £200k to the young Sunderland fan who needs treatment abroad. That should get them over the target.

Good luck young man.
Today's Game..
at 18:14 11 Sep 2016

Just a few of my thoughts:

Fernandez completely shot, Fabianski didn't do him no favours for the first goal but he just looks down on confidence. I fancy seeing Mawson have a go, I got a good feeling about the lad.

Not got full backs suited to 3-5-2, fair play to Guido making the change before half time, had to happen. Taylor shouldn't be in the side, not enough quality.

Llorente did ok. We literally give our strikers zero help, it's an unbelievably hard task. We MUST play wingers, Montero and Barrow, attack is the best form of defence. We haven't got a clean sheet in us when we are sitting back.

Was a battling performance and you can't fault the lads attitude, but to be honest we couldn't have complained if we lost 4/5 - 2 today. Chelsea were very, very sharp.

A lot of improvement needed.

That is how a premier league centre half should play. Made Llorente look horrendous.

Fernandez was awful.

Rumours going that he is off to Arsenal for £15 million. Not sure how accurate reports are but if true, prices have gone crazy.
Ayew's Future
at 11:33 24 Jul 2016

Franco has said he wants him to stay, Huw gets final say.

In terms of new striker, this is also "above his pay grade", according to WOL.
Welsh Fans Tomorrow
at 08:54 5 Jul 2016

Does anyone know what blocks Welsh fans are in tomorrow?
Ben Davies
at 10:32 3 Jul 2016

There's often a lot said about the "Curse" of players failing as soon as they make a move away from us, but Ben Davies looks twice the player.

Obviously when he was with us, he was still only a kid and I thought his ball retention was poor, as well as his positioning, but his athleticism got him out of trouble most of the time. Watching him throughout the group stages and against Belgium in this tournament, he oozes class in everything he does. Every time he's on the ball he looks comfortable, his positioning is spot on, the block against Slovakia where he knew we were in the sh*t and read it perfectly, tournament defining moment for me.

He probably isn't playing as much as he would like at the moment, and in a selfish sort of way, would love him to come back straight away, but if he sticks it out under the guidance of Pochettino, he's going to be another world class Welsh International in my opinion.

Rodgers or Bielsa
at 18:01 24 Apr 2016

Please. That is pathetic as it comes when it comes to playing this standard.

Bullied and out muscled today. Disgraceful

Already assessing our squad for next season apparently. Whatever happens it will be one hell of a ride if he takes over.
Kyle Copp

Anyone who watches the u21s often here?

Wondered how he was doing, I heard there was high hopes for him and seemed to be a bit of a set piece specialist. Would love to see a few local lads break through.
My Thoughts
at 16:55 12 Mar 2016

Just leaving the ground so it will be brief.

Gomis best striker at this club by an absolute country mile. I could run around all day like Paloschi, doesn't mean I'm a good striker.

Ash is carrying that back four, Taylor is absolutely woeful and needs to be dropped for Kingsley. Fernandez, awful, give me Chico any day of the week instead of that waste of space.

All in all it was a good effort, but Bournemouth always had the extra gear, better side than us.

Guidolin - Hospital

Guidolin in hospital with chest infection. Assuming Curt will take the reigns.

Americans edging closer to takeover deal, will be interesting to see how this pans out.
Gomis Move Blocked
at 17:05 31 Jan 2016

We have blocked Gomis move to Newcastle according to WalesOnline.

Looking less likely that names will be added to squad before deadline.

Remy - £10mill
at 16:26 24 Jan 2016

Anyone else heard the rumour? Personally can't see it but would give us one hell of a boost for the West Brom game.
Can we do it?
at 23:09 13 Jan 2016

I am, according to Darran the most pessimistic swans fan out there, I need some cheering up. Will we stay up?

I'm looking at the run ins briefly and I think West Brom are probably safe now along with obviously Chelsea who aren't going to go down. Sunderland are a weak side in my opinion but Sam will do enough for them to stay up, Newcastle have the players to also pull away. I'm pinning my hopes on a Norwich and Bournemouth collapse. Every week I think to myself this is the week we go on a run, but everything goes against us. The liverpool penalty for handball, Gomis disallowed goal v Man City and a 92nd minute deflected goal, today's red card and offside goals along with a deflection, Bartley gifting Leicester the lead and then an offside goal to secure it for them, De Geas stormer against us at old Trafford.

For the more rational lot, has this team got it in us to get 21 points from 17 games?
