I think this thread has gone off topic, plenty of other threads regarding the vaccine.
Regarding The Budget I am being more and more swayed towards not voting Conservative next time around.
They have not learnt that people are very happy to sit at home and prolong lockdown if they are better off and the 10s of billions in get back to work schemes and loans will never be paid back by the 100000s easily exploiting the giveaways.
One example , a well known women’s hairdresser in Mumbles has had 32 “hair stylists” furloughed for the last year, their shop can take 3 or 4 customers at a time?????? they have also had over £15,000 in back to work grants,The last thing theyvever want to do is reopen and that is from the owners mouth, who once it’s allowed will be off to Dubai to spend the free money. We were told the whole reason for the lockdown was to avoid ‘overwhelming the NHS’. So what is the reason for continuing with it for another day, seeing that those vulnerable have had the injection? The under 60s aren’t going to need hospital treatment in the vast majority of cases, so there’s no real need for the charade to continue.
Edit : Catullus, there’s no need for all 65m to get it, they’re not at risk

hobo,you make some good points.Strange how "herd immunity" has been forgotten,especially amonst the young and fit who are very unlikely to need any treatment.
Whats become very apparent is that many are doing very well out of the pandemic for various reasons and are happy and want it to continue for as long as possible.
