There shouldn't even be a lockdown. The vulnerable and elderly should all have been offered an injection by now, so there's no reason for the house arrest to continue

So the suggestion is we let loose dykeheads to spread the virus costhe feel houses arrested . Pity they don’t speak to someone who has been under house arrest. These cretins are those we see without masks as they infringe their liberties and don’t wash hands after a dump as it’s someone else’s job

Truth out . Many in labour did not want any lockdown as it was simply ordinary flu and an attempt to attack our civil liberty.

| The Budget 2021 on 11:26 - Mar 4 with 1529 views | pikeypaul | I think this thread has gone off topic, plenty of other threads regarding the vaccine. Regarding The Budget I am being more and more swayed towards not voting Conservative next time around. They have not learnt that people are very happy to sit at home and prolong lockdown if they are better off and the 10s of billions in get back to work schemes and loans will never be paid back by the 100000s easily exploiting the giveaways. One example , a well known women’s hairdresser in Mumbles has had 32 “hair stylists” furloughed for the last year, their shop can take 3 or 4 customers at a time?????? they have also had over £15,000 in back to work grants,The last thing theyvever want to do is reopen and that is from the owners mouth, who once it’s allowed will be off to Dubai to spend the free money. We were told the whole reason for the lockdown was to avoid ‘overwhelming the NHS’. So what is the reason for continuing with it for another day, seeing that those vulnerable have had the injection? The under 60s aren’t going to need hospital treatment in the vast majority of cases, so there’s no real need for the charade to continue. Edit : Catullus, there’s no need for all 65m to get it, they’re not at risk But yes, as the poster above says, we’ve gone off topic, so I’ll leave it there [Post edited 4 Mar 2021 12:11]

| The Budget 2021 on 12:31 - Mar 4 with 1487 views | pikeypaul | hobo, you make some good points.Strange how "herd immunity" has been forgotten, especially amonst the young and fit who are very unlikely to need any treatment. Whats become very apparent is that many are doing very well out of the pandemic for various reasons and are happy and want it to continue for as long as possible. Maybe we can take this to the vaccine thread, and get this thread back about the budget. [Post edited 4 Mar 2021 12:40]

Eh? There are 63 Tory MPs railing against lockdown and attacks on their civil liberties. They're constantly on at Boris to end lockdown. They call themselves the Covid recovery group and they have continually voted against lockdown measures.

Eh what. And ,as you say, many Tories, but they are ones who care only for THEIR businesses. The Corbyns and chums have a different mindet,ie civil rights;the freedom NOT to distance or wear a mask. This country should have united. For Jonno to think we were was criminally stupid as was the Christmas decision which killeds thousands.

| The Budget 2021 on 19:37 - Mar 4 with 1331 views | onehunglow | The tories could provide free houess, lager, fags, lottery tickets, holidays in Benidorm , free child care and free Care Home when old and it would still not be enough. Labour want more but where does that come from. If Tories gave more away, they d claim they were building up the National Debt, not that they give a shyte. It's no good even debating this with south Walians as they are branded by birth as labour . | |

The decision isn't due until May, the initial report said that without re-prioritising funding 1% was possible.
