Quite possibly. But for Wales Neco plays all the over shop - left back, right wing, even looked to be in central midfield a lot before his sending off v France.

The scum amongst other clubs also interested apparently.

Personally, I think if we got a good enough offer for Roberts AND borrowing Williams was a definite, I'd take it right now. Roberts is rated at around 4 million apparently, that pays for a striker...well Thomas Henry anyway!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Get your point, let's wait and see what type of Euros Robert's has first.

His value can only increase.

Well yeah, if Connor has a very good Euro his value will go up. WHat though, what if he got bafly injured or had a mare?

The risk runs in both directions.

Of course we could sell Conno and Neco gets injured!

Depends how much we need to sell him. If we end up keeping him I'd be happy.

Roberts is rated at £4m by who?

Last summer I might have agreed, but not based on his development this season. We need to be looking for a chunk more than that.

He is definitely going somewhere, if Liverpool have their heads on straight it won’t be Cardiff.

Brewster was dropped after having copious amounts of smoke blown up his arras .With Williams wages covered , a nice little transfer fee , why would they care where he ends up ?

Because they want their loan players to develop so they can either sell them, or integrate them into the first team squad. Wilson treaded water at best last season.

They wouldn’t have got anywhere near £20m for Brewster without his spell here.

genuine question and taking aside any rivalry would any Club with their players best interest at heart and with a view to developing them would send them to cardiff ?

Depends on the club and their style of play, Burnley might send someone to Cardiff. Saying that mind, after last season and our "style" who would send a player here? I know Guehi is talking us up but if they'd been watching us on tv, would they?

They still want a fee and wages fully or partially covered. I doubt Cardiff would have been their first choice for Wilson and I doubt they will for Williams.

Is Neco too good for Swansea at this stage ?

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Still a lot to learn defensively. Looks good in a Wales shirt but so do lots of Championship and even League One players sometimes. He's had Liverpool fans on his back for performances when given rare chances over the last 12/18 months, needs a full season somewhere and don't think he'd get it in the PL.

Agreed, I think he has to be worth a fair bit more than than £4m especially with prices as they are now. The big clubs are whinging about being short of money on account of Covid, but the transfer fees being bandied about are mental. Villa just paid £33m for a Norwich player who cost £1.5m from Getafe 3 years ago. There’s talk of Grealish being valued at £100m.

Defo worth more than £4m, if he has a good Euro’s then it could be a lot more.

Zero chance of this one even though it would be epic.

I’m sure Wolves bid for him in Jan, or summer can’t remember, so just can’t see it being championship personally.

You never know, teams in premier league maybe can’t guarantee games but I’d be shocked if we pulled that one off, I’d also be shocked if Cardiff did after the Wilson loan.

Absolutely not.
He and players like Brookes and Wilson automatically boosted because their parent clubs are big names.
Last night, for example, Malcolm Allen was purring over a tackle made by Neco Williams ... it was a standard tackle I'd expect to see many times in any game of football.

He is no doubt about it a standout player in his generation of Welsh players. Soild athletic tecnically able and tenacious. Only 20 already 11 caps and 12 games for Liverpool. He could be the man to pass Gunter.

His borther playes for Burnely u21 Keelan who looks and play like Neco. He left Liverpool to join Burnley for better first team prospects.
