Swansea need to develop players and let them play. Ollie Cooper barely had a kick last season but is generally beyond u23 football. (he played last week). All Swanseas 20-22 yer old prospects should have the possibility of getting 50 games on the CV by June 2022. After that then there is a decision to be made. |  |

There you go Dr P, that's how you do it. You don't kick the new style out, you keep the players who can do it and move on the others, replace them with players who can do it.
Some people seem desperate to be negative about the change. Some of us just want to support the new manager, give him the chance to succeed at least.
Maybe some aren't happy that owners seem to be backing this by spending a bit, they'll have nothing left to moan about.
Most of us want this change, most of us want it to succeed, in my opinion. Russell Martin wants to give us attractive, attacking football, lets support the idea until or unless he fails which we can't say has happened for a few months at least. | |

One thing for sure,he hasn't had enough chances to how what he can do,like many others,whilst some get away with below par performances all the time.
I feel this lad has potential. People forget he came on as a sub and scored a good goal -against Mancherster City FFS-Yet....super Steve still benched him. | |

He should go out on loan IMO. From what I've seen of him in our games, he's nowhere near our first team yet.

Interesting points OHL but they are not mutually exclusive, yes we needed a ‘ready to go’ striker - as we do now - when we signed Whittaker but that does not make the signing wrong & no we are not done.
Suspect not signing a finisher last Jan cost us the real chance of going up & started the Cooper - Winter/Scott relationship demise & ultimately to his decision to exit.
It appears that RM has been more determined/successful in his negotiations - albeit not delivered yet - & I fully expect at least two final third signings in the next 11 days. | | | |

I'd loan out Dhanda, Cullen, Whittaker, O Cooper, D Williams and others if possible. They all need experience in the lower leagues and gametime they won't & shouldn't get with us throughout the season.
Although with the injuries&covid at the moment not sure how many can go just in case. |  |
