Not saying the side isn't improving, but we still haven't got the ability to finish sides off with goals, you said yourself on another thread that 6 goals in games is a concern.

I don’t see any reason why it would though, it’s not like he failed anywhere in his history. His CV is just successful season after successful season and it looks to be continuing in the same way, took over when they were bottom and quickly got them into lower mid table.
If Cooper’s Forest start losing game after game then I’m sure that will change, just as if Martin starts winning game after game people that are criticising the results will start to praise them.
But I don’t see Forest going on a terrible run anytime soon, they look to finally be in a really good place both on and off the field currently according to them. The signs point to the opposite. | |

An interesting article, two points raised in the OP that surprised me -
" only action Russell can't manage is the ability of his players to put the ball into the back of the net in game time" - I have to disagree with this. It's a vital part of a game that needs to be managed, coached and take responsibility for.
The second point - " during this summer, and indeed as Alan Tate took over, masses of learning was missed. The refusal of the staff then to take on board medical evaluations of players, literally disregarding professional advice was alarming. "

Piroe wasn't signed by Martin, bizarrely dropped for our season opener. He's has Downes, Laird etc.
But doesn't fancy Williams, or players already here like Whittaker.

Martin has done zero to improve.
Take away his words and replace with Coopers drivel and there you have it.
Cooper didn’t have any charisma,charm,personality. Russ has more but he s no better a manager. Worse in fact based on results.
Our biggest fear should be passing Piroe off and seeing him sold in January.
Too many fans are up Russy orifice so much they can’t see straight ahead.
I worry about the next window especially if we don’t flog Grimes ,shockingly overrated nonentity .
