I use the slow cooker to make stews, soups and curry. I'll make simple things but I don't bake. I like to make Chilli, quite spicy too, my favourite food. I've made a Sunday lunch but I make too much mess...and I have to do the washing up!

| Cooking on 19:46 - Dec 15 with 890 views | GoldenBear | I do most of the cooking here. All from scratch and fresh ingredients. Plenty of green veg, fish, salads. Hardly any meat or dairy products, defo no milk. Nuts and some seeds like sunflower or pumpkin make a great alternative snack. | | | |

Fish is meat, just saying. So you're pescatarian then. Our son has a severe nut allergy and we're all lacto intolerant.

I see your a smart one, I'll have to watch my vocab. Animal meat ain't much good for you, it's acid and causes mucus build up. Sorry you son has a nut allergy. Oat milk is very nice, not cheap, but you can use it in all sorts of cooking.

Try a joint of beef or ham in the slow cooker, falls apart, Just Brill.
| Cooking on 20:03 - Dec 15 with 868 views | swan65split | I do most of the cooking now since my wife took ill a few years ago, I found it better than finding a half a slug in the salad, or biting into nearly raw fish! LoL Mind you she does a good Bara Brith, and Welsh cakes sometimes. | | | |

I'm not so smart just a raging pedant! Animal meat is good for you in moderation. It's an old saying but I subscribe, everything in moderation. Too much of anything isn't good for you. I tried Oat milk but I prefer the lacto free. We don't drink much milk anyway, the occasional fruit smoothie aside. Gluten can cause mucus build up too.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I've only had Red Snapper once, in a specialty fish restaurant in Florida and it was stunning. I had alligator bites to start (think chicken nuggets but with alligator!) jacket potato and salad, one of the best meals I ever had.

Seconded. A beef joint in red wine cooked slowly over six hours. Usual stuff for flavour, onion, carrot etc. Roasted off then served with butter mash and Yorkshire puddings. Anyone getting hungry ?

| Cooking on 11:00 - Dec 16 with 525 views | onehunglow | I try but find it all too stressful and I am prone to leave a mess. I truly feel uncomfortable on any kitchen and prefer my music room where I feel at home. Everything in moderation. The teeth we have been given are for a specified purpose Milk is full of protein as is cheese; Im still here having eaten a 50s diet a a kid when parents and adults thought nothing of smoking in front of you . | |
