Shops should refuse to sell to non compliers or they should face sanctions from the government, like being closed down. If any customers turn nasty then use the CCTV that all shops have these days to prosecute them.
Shops could start by having clear signage at their entrance, no mask, no sale. Anybody medically exempt can do their shopping online. | |

I went into HB in New Brighton 2 day ago and wifey dragged me out as I was getting rather feisty and apparently glaring at those refusing quite opening to wear a mask. Whole families from kids to grandparents.

True,so why not big outlets.What goes on in HB is appalling and Richard Walker stands shamed clearly attracting the "poorer" shopper to shop at Iceland and to do so without having to bother with a mask.
