Gerwyn was hounded out of a Darts Tournament while the English organisers sponsors and broadcaster looked the other way and used the mute button not to show he disgraceful scenes. The World title where the World sees racism against the Welsh.
The abuse was racist. The Welsh are a Celtic people an ethnicity a branch of the Indo European race. It has been convicted in court as "Racially aggravated disorderly conduct".
Its getting worse following the abuse of Welsh boxers Selby and Williams by Leeds Utd fans.

I consider myself part of a Celtic minority group. I regard Sheep slurs as racist and generally point that out to anyone that goes down that route. I can avoid avoid trouble by using calm logic in the spirit of mutual understanding.
Welsh sports people with Welsh names should not have to put up with this abuse to the point of being hounded out of competitions and intimidated.
Swansea fans who sing "1-0 to the sheep abusers" are actually engaging in racist abuse and encouraging it. The same people pontificate on support for Raheem Sterling but are in fact frauds. The sheep banter people of today threw bananas at John Barnes 30 years ago. They also supported white skinned only rugby tournaments in south Africa. | |

I watched last nights game and I particularly listened out for sheep chants, i didn't hear anything I'm a bit deaf though but my Mrs nor my lad didn't hear anything, somin went on cause Pricey had some clown removed.
On Price himself. I thought he handled himself with dignity throughout the game and was very sportsman like in defeat, every winner has an attitude, Phil Taylor had it, it's what helps makes them winner's.
Michael Smith was excellent and deserved the win, for me. What was astounding was the amount of times Pricey dropped his darts  [Post edited 2 Jan 2022 19:12]

I bet they'd be right cheesed off if he did not compete at or lost in the early stages of a tournament. I guess they would not openly admit to that though!

He normally thrives on the stick he gets and as someone above said he’s great for the sport from the organisers point of view and sponsorship.
But he did seem rattled by it a bit yesterday towards the end but would he have been the same if he had been 4-1 ahead. |  |
