That the tiny percentage of unwashed, oops, I mean unvaxed, make 20 times more noise than the washed, I mean vaxed ?
Seems similar to small man syndrome.

Wait for it.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It's true of many issues these days a small vocal minority can distort things quite easily on social media.

To an extent I would agree with your first sentence. There appears to be no end in sight to the harassment, regardless of lower mortality, increased population immunity etc. It’s been two years, I’ve not caught so much as a cold and yet I am the problem?

If I lived in Austria I would have already left that country. I am ready to leave the UK as soon as conditions are made intolerable. Thankfully the ruling party have repeatedly expressed that they will not make vaccinations mandatory, but it is still an uncomfortable position to be in given some of the actions taken elsewhere, and the rhetoric from many. Do you want me to leave, or worse?

I want to stay healthy, keep working and make my contribution to supporting people in this country, most of my tax will go towards supporting the elderly. Death comes for us all, I would suggest a healthier relationship with that reality is even more helpful in the current environment. The Bible is a source of strength for many.

Nonsense it’s 150,000 deaths in total in the two years it’s been around and we know they put it down as a covid death even if you were hit by a bus , on the other hand there are 78,000 deaths a year alone from smoking

That is something I have thought about a lot. Drakefords latest pronouncement, about why the rules must stay, it annoys me. The world needs to get on with living. The problems in the NHS are clear and obvious but I wonder how many are off sick partly because they are so run down? If successive governments hadn't been busy ruining the NHS things may be different.
Then there's the blatant hypocrisy. They don't make smoking illegal and in the last budget they seemed to encourage drinkers by not increasing tax on alcohol yet they increased taxes elsewhere to pay for the pandemic. Why not lower taxes on petrol/gas/electricity and charge smokers and drinkers a lot more?

I know someone who has COPD and Diabetes yet he smokes, does drugs and drinks to excess....a big excess. he looks terrible. He could do with being priced out of the alcohol/fags and drugs market! If he catches covid he's probably a goner.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

No, don't price cigarettes possibly out of their reach, ban the cigarretes completely.
Except we all know that they can't and won't due to the loss in taxes.
Just like they won't ban Ultra Processed food.

What I am saying is excess deaths have increased by 149,000 in the last two years. As people are still dieing from other diseases as well as natural causes what has caused this huge increase in deaths?

How many are killed in their own cars or by others when a pedestrian.

Driving in a city centre ,at face value, is about the most dangerous thing you can do.
Most do it regularly.

Even being a farmer is dangerous not forgetting builders.

Around 1800 fatalities associated with road transport in the UKt each year. This has fallen by 75% since the early 70s despite increased traffic are cars are safer, seat belts compulsory and more measures to control traffic speed.

About a quarter are ALL pedestrian accidents which rather dampens down the hit by a bus covid argument

20% are motorcycists and 5% cyclists.

The largest group (and most numerous) are car drivers and passengers.

There appears to be TFL data on bus-related fatalities- around 15-20 annually in London which is hardly a shock if you have lived and used buses in London.

Surprised the number of cyclists killed isn’t higher than that. I was up in London a few weeks ago and used one of those Santander hire bikes, it was a scary experience with lots of motorists having no regard to cyclists. Ive also driven in Bristol recently, that was a very uncomfortable experience, in addition to the other traffic and cyclists there were numerous people using electric scooters, they tended to have complete disregard to the Highway Code and road safety and were coming from all directions. Nightmare.
