What would people be saying if Piroe and s chipped that one in for a 2-1 win?. In two pre season games against Southampton Swansea were ripped to shreds 1-7 and 1-3 under Cooper.

There is no doubt that the balance of the team is not right. The passing is decent everywhere except where it counts in the opposition final third. There are too many passers and not enough runners. Joseph is a runner. O'Riley is not required good player that he is.

Swansea improved markedly when Grimes and Ntcham came on. Obafemi needs a long run in the centre.

Monk cut the players some slack and that is fair enough. Given the long layoff it was a decent effort.

What would Norwich fans say if instead of losing every game, they won every game?

What would they say if instead of missing chances they scored them?

What would they say if instead of conceding goals they stopped them going in?

Pointless discussion.

God you're boring....you are like a small child that wants to bleat on about how you can't get your own way. It's football.

At 11 v 11 we may well have been heading to one of those preseason scorelines.

.

Blimey.

The only sense of perspective required is that we were battered and humiliated until the sending off.

We were utterly clueless and leaderless on and off the pitch.

Silverstein will have gained a true sense of perspective, in so many different ways.

Oh yes, they were all over us. Rabbit in the headlight stuff when we were in possession. As for the OP we’d have probably conceded within 2 minutes if that scenario had planned out.

Sorry if it was posted as not read past the OP.

Even Piroe scored, Soton would have probably equalised straight away 😂

What game were you watching?
You think the passes around our penalty area were "decent", wow how fan's standards have dropped on here.

Sense of perspective to you:

16 goals conceded in last 6 games
17th in the league (would be 19th without points deductions)
Sloppy passing leading to soft goals just about every game last 2 months
Players being played out of position
Conceding goals within seconds of scoring
Losing against 10 men

But hey ho we are dominant in possession (at least in our own half) & another two transfer windows & we could be challenging for a play off position

You might get pelters for that.

The truth always hurts

Right now, look at the list of who is on line and you will see what this is really about.

Martin's mission statement is to return the club to a possession placed team fit for the premier league using young talented players to be developed.

He has a number of problems to solve which hamper his project which he is attending too.

He has 12 or more 19-22 year old players o to incorporate in the squad playing his way. Of those Piroe Cabango and Downes have established themselves. Brandon Cooper, Cullen Obafemi and slowly getting more game time. Ollie Cooper Garrick and Whittaker have or will get at least 6 months action .

He had no pre- season.

He has some players not suited to this style Hamer, Bennett, Fulton, Dhanda, Bidwell?

He has a lack of pace.

He has lost Laird and Williams has bombed.

A narrow 2-3 loss to Southampton with none of his team having played for close on a month and some hardly having played at all this season Fulton, Dhanda, Walsh, Obafemi Cullen is not the end of the project. Far from it

It is strange that those on here frothing at the month were a week ago telling us that the FA cup game was irrelevant and Swansea should play the u23 team.
