For me Christie without doubt , more forward looking , willing to take on players ,always looking for an opptunity to shoot and has more of a physical presence about him. Whats not to like

I think any offer we make Christie has to be right, as feel he will have many clubs interested in his services in the summer

I really liked Laird as he presented himself and his interactions with the fans. He will be a really good player.
But, as of today, the more experienced Christie gets my vote.

I agree but he would never have become a really good player with us

Not even a conversation for me, Laird couldn't lace Christie's boot at this stage of his career at least.

We got to do our best to keep Christie this summer IMO

Laird looked outstanding initially but faded very badly, seemed to have totally lost confidence in himself.

We definitely benefited out of MU recalling him because Cyrus the Swan is quite an upgrade. He doesn’t wander offside as much either

I bet United won’t be pleased. He was playing as first choice for us. We were/are crying out for experience and leadership all over the pitch, Christie certainly seems to be one. Naughton, Downes and Manning two others.
A definite blessing for us so Christie all day for me. Pity we let Bidwell go as he’s a definite leader type and we’ve definitely suffered without him. Here’s hoping the new lad does a Downes and takes the step up as the chance it is for him and excels.
