| The international break 18:37 - Sep 19 with 1716 views | KeithHaynes | Your feelings on it ? For me, the nations league games could have been incorporated in to the week before the World Cup. Or sensibly the nations league should have been binned this time around.

Yet the big club managers and many big name players moan about fixture congestion. Then you get all these international games and clowns like Boehly suggesting an all star game to increase revenue!

The successful players have always played 60 odd games a season, without moaning.

| The international break on 07:21 - Sep 20 with 1044 views | Dr_Winston | The Nations League is a pointless, idiotic waste of time. As indeed are most friendly matches. Couple of warmup games before a tournament is all that's needed. Perhaps more if you're a host nation. There's simply too much International football being played overall. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Put it this way. # Following the super fan logic and love of all things Wales, then Cardiff, being capital city, should see all Swansea people supporting them when they play another team. Ergo,Welsh capital,Welsh nation...support them and let not a bad word be said.

That people find the time of money to actually travel to these games baffles me. When my kids were growing up,there were far more important matters to attend to than getting wasted in Praha and vomitting over Wenceslas Sq not knowing where exactly one is.

Wales have played seven games so far this year. Only two of which were "competitive" games, i.e. the WC qualfiers. The rest have been friendlies or Nations League games, which equates to the same thing. They played five games in June alone. June. During the close season, or what should have been. Far, far too many pointless fixtures when players should be resting.

| The international break on 22:17 - Sep 20 with 766 views | majorraglan | Personally I like the Nations League as it’s a better option than friendly games. The Nations League gives teams the opportunity to qualify for the big tournaments and also in Wales case after they moved up from Tier B to Tier A the chance to play a set of games against better higher profile nations. This benefits the players and the FAW bank account which in turn benefits grass roots football. I think delaying it until a week before the WC would have caused even bigger issues with the md winter break. I think there is scope to improve it, but I like the concept. | | | |

God willing I’ll be there on Sunday and out in Qatar for a couple of the group games. I’m also looking forward to taking a few away games in over the next few years after retiring.

You have been watching too much of those naughty English fans falling over, spewing, and fighting. Us Welsh boys can hold it fella. You are so anti Welsh. Beaten up by a Swansea lad when a kid maybe?

So, does that mean that all Liverpool fans should support Chelsea when they are playing another team? Ergo, English capital team, English nation….innit?

I agree with this, however given that FIFA have messed virtually every league schedule up this season with a winter World Cup, the sensible thing would have been to suspend it this season and freeze rankings. Give the countries a couple of windows for friendlies if they want to organise them. Hardly any summer break for international players and we seem to be playing twice most weeks as it is. In a normal season, they are much better than friendlies.
