I'm surprised it was reported, most violence at rugby matches is ignored.

We had a meal in Ask, Wind St , after the game (using up some Tesco rewards).
It kicked off outside the Chicken place opposite, half a dozen in wales rugby tops having a hell of a scrap. Cops ran in from all around. Taken away in a couple of meat wagons.
Just after 6pm.
I doubt this will be on Wales today.

Just a shame our players didn’t show some fight

You are on the wrong forum.
Daffodil faced idiots pissing themselves on the valley line and 300 plus arrests that aren’t rugby related half an hour after the game which is more than any Welsh football team over five seasons plus is the real problem.
Equality 😉

If it was Swans fans fighting each other outside Chickenland I would still say the same.
You seem to think the rugby boys and girls go to Cardiff, watch the game, have a cup of tea, and go home. You don’t seem to realise that they drink to excess, the vast majority behave and have fun, whilst quite a lot get pi££Ed as farts and want to take on the world.
Wake up.

If it was Swans fans fighting outside Chick-O-Land Perchy would be all over it declaring what a disgrace it was and how much of a sh*thole Swansea is these days.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I read somewhere I’m sure it’s on the net that the biggest problems the coppers have on a sporting event was from rugby by a huge margin. That was compared a while back when the FA cup finals were being played in Cardiff.

OK I've changed it.

I’ve seen it all the time. Pissing up against walls, swearing, throwing up. Taking a dump in bins.

And that’s just the women.

Isn’t it just the same idiots who want to fight in the football simply go either to the right or just head into Cardiff on the day of the match, get lagered up and want to fight ?

Indeed it is, going back many years.

In 1958 as a football crazy 11 year old I started secondary education in a school that had a total ban on football, rugby only. Bear in mind that in 1958 Wales reached the quarter finals of the World Cup which, in itself, should have been a springboard to really accelerate the game in Wales.

There were a number of schools that had this policy.. it was pathetic.

It's quite odd when you think about it.

Massively working class areas, all strongly Socialist, obsessed with an English Public School game. You'd think it would have been the other way around.

My school had that policy. Any pupil wanting to play football were routinely labelled “poofters” by the teachers.

See it as a threat?

Don’t think so since football is by far the more popular sport in Wales.

Has been for years and years, more people watch it, play it and it’s increasing by the year.

It’s not a threat but SEEN as a threat . I mean in the widest sense of the word.
Media coverage ,for example, of association football ,which is and has always been criminally underplayed .
It’s not a hanging offence to like both games and certainly followers do not deserve to be subjected to what we see and have seen ever since these forums started

If not a threat of some kind and nobody interested then why all the pyss taking and the celebrations when Wales get thrashed as they could be again this Saturday

We re almost discussing a subject here Rog.

I’ve told you numerous times, but you call me a liar, that I don’t like the game of rugby but I want Wales to win whatever we are playing.

You only need to look around the playing fields, once there were more rugby pitches than football, now you scarcely see one rugby pitch, its all football.
