How about this "Swansea head to Blackburn for the first time since a 2-1 defeat in August 2021, which was Martin's first game in charge. He says Swansea are now "so far ahead of where we were on that day" - but accepts they "still have a long way to go". "

It insults our intelligence. If he gets time? He’s been given nearly 2 years. If we keep improving? We have won 1 game in the last 18 games when our opponents haven’t had to be reduced to 10 men before we score the winner. They are shocking statements devoid of any awareness of the situation we are witnessing. Not to mention the “some point in the future” comment. I’ve never experienced anyone so avidly pro active in avoiding accountability. It’s always “some point in the future”.

Firstly he knows he has 18 months left to run on his contract but as any one in any industry who underperforms they do need to be told that is at risk...and certainly any prospect of an extension is out of the question based on results and performance to date Its easy this is how it works in other walks of life "Russell given where we are 18th months into your tenancy we see no improvement in our play recent results and your performance have been very disappointing...the Birmingham game in particular and your use of substitutes and game management plan demonstrated that perhaps you are not able to perform your duties to an expected level. We need to see an improvement over the next 8 games 5 of which are at home. We do recognise that some of these games are against teams currently above us but you do keep talking of us competing for the play offs so we need some competitiveness when we play these. I know its not ideal but we wil review things after these 8 games and see where we are . We do need to warn you that no improvement may lead to us reviewing your position as at the end of this season with possible termination of your current contract much more than consideration of a contract extension. we are sure Russell you have the abilities to turn things around given your hard work and what you have always told us. We know things were tight in the last window but as we have discussed it does seem you are reluctant to use squad members often leaving them on the bench despite you insisting these were essential targets in the previous two transfer windows.

It is insulting Keith. I am sure he’s not stupid & knows he’s in a results business which he is not delivering, I’m sure he’s been told he has to improve (although he should know that himself). He’s a fraud.
| Swansea City head coach looks for clarity over long-term future on 13:44 - Feb 17 with 2426 views | raynor94 | I backed him from the beginning, but since the World Cup break, I have totally changed my mind. His failure to organise a defence is baffling, I don't look forward to games anymore, he just never seems to learn. A parting of the ways at the end of the season seems inevitable | |

💠Fraud involves deceit with the intention to illegally or unethically gain at the expense of another. In finance, fraud can take on many forms including making false insurance claims, cooking the books, pump & dump schemes, and identity theft leading to unauthorised purchases.

| Swansea City head coach looks for clarity over long-term future on 15:10 - Feb 17 with 2310 views | nantywatcher | 18 months ago, I was the first person on this site to cast my doubts about Martin, suggesting he might well be a bullshi**r. He has enjoyed a very good living, with a lovely lifestyle for himself and his family by being second rate at his job. I cannot imagine any way on this earth he will achieve anything worthwhile as a manager. He has little tactical sense, he has proved he does not know the difference between a very good player and a dud. His bullshi**ery is extremely suitable for TV punditry where he can carry on earning a nice living. The trouble is with the length of his contract left he is better off making a mess of things here. A mess indeed. | | | |

Second to who??? Certainly, within the first month, because I was worried about putting my head over the parapet, as there was very little negativity at the time.

Win?? Nothing to do with winning or losing - irrelevant to my point. I'm sure Martin is a really lovely guy. I recently spent a four hour round trip with a Wesh FA referee - absolutely brilliant company, I enjoyed every minute of my time with him on both there and back journeys. But he's still a sh*t referee! I think you are getting my views of Russell as a man and a football manager cross wired. I'm not screaming for him to be sacked, because I am aware I have zero influence on that matter. However, I am massively deflated that in 18 months he has done little to dissuade me from my original view.

Yes he was I feel like Jesus on the cross with those those two villains alongside I saw something in Martin which made me uneasy.the Gent I was with felt the same The love for him seems actually rather cruel and misplaced as Mr Martin will eventually discover . I you can be in a minority of one and still be right Nobody should feel intimidated or bullied .
