Why can't we train and employ all our own stewards? I reckon in the long run it'd be safer and cheaper.
Though saying that, I did see the advert on the bog screen, Swansea.com, we are hiring. Maybe they need to pay a bit more [Post edited 8 Apr 2023 19:54]

Cardiff based firm with sub contracts from all over the valleys, swansea , Llanelli I worked for them a few years back. I done stewarding for west ham , Millwall, cardiff , wales, England Rugby, scarlets with them. Unless a steward has got a badge the standard expected is low out of all them teams. Only the scarlets insisted on stadium training of any sort for all staff. Most stewards are just hobbling factory workers. Basically if a steward puts a hand on you with no badge it's assault. As they have no training to do it safely. | | | |

Minimum wage for actual safestyle people who sub contract get less than that a few years ago. I use to get £37.50 for 6 hours work ( cash in hand allegedly lol for any tax men reading this.
The ones with proper training sia badged are usually grouped up in the extraction team. I have seen fans hitting female stewards in work. all they should do is report nothing else. That Coventry fan should of been ejected for leaving the away end , without hitting someone from what I can make of what has happened. | | | |
