| Good news 11:08 - Apr 12 with 10576 views | bennytheblue | Particularly for my old buddy ‘the pencoed Jack’, looks like I’ll be back here next season after all, a bit twitchy of late but I think we are almost there barring some kind of apocalyptic ending. I think you need us, noticed the other day that you have the worst away support in the championship at about 890, I find that hard to believe to be honest, the Jack army? Shoely not? Might aswell get going with a bang (in case we come straight back down eh ) | | | | |

| Good news on 12:44 - Apr 12 with 7111 views | KeithHaynes | It isn’t 890. With the social climate locally, an extremely high child poverty rate, a distinct lack of well paid jobs, even for qualified folk, the enormity of the costs to even get a club coach to games (often a hundred quid or thereabouts for two ) with tickets in their thirties and a careful budget you won’t get much out of £200. Possibly have to spend more. A lot of our younger supporters rely on parental finance, to be honest whatever the away support is you should take note 🫣 | |

Why do people go on about attendances only when they have nothing else. League One we walked it last time, whilst others claim they would and haven't.

| Good news on 14:02 - Apr 12 with 6954 views | onehunglow | Well, we really should have a larger fan base We have rid ourselves of the Martin era , more or less, which saw thousands walk away Yrs, it’s been another frustrating season but given almost 300,000 live within 30 mins of the stadium and with rugby on a shocking state then the Swans should be THE main entertainment for the region Swansea area has no football competitors whereas the Lancashire towns , smaller than Swansea , have massive world names within 30 mins Think we are solid on support though but we need to market the club better Exciting times ahead | |

I’m only breaking balls, football has become stupidly expensive, like many things associated with an away day (train, beer, food). FairPlay to anyone who makes the effort these days. I was genuinely surprised to see you at the bottom of that list though but I guess most midland clubs have it easy, so do the northern ones, others like Pompey and boro do well for other reasons.

People in glasshouses get sunburnt How are you Ed Better? Able to discourse now ? Willing to have another go ? Meanwhile I stand by every word You don’t think the club deserves better support from Swansea people then that’s your view Why so so many Swansea people follow Liverpool Spurs Arse ? Enjoy the summer and wear a sunhat

Fair post People in many cases have lost the passion , the love , the pride , the joy and shouldn’t be hammered for it Cardiff’s crowds have been impressive . Do you suffer from glory hunters? Many towns do

There us a massive difference between people who follow a football team and those who support a football team. People who support a football team watch them and cheer them on. People who follow watch on TV or are interested in the results. Some only support the team when they play away locally to where they live but they support when they can. Others attend the stadium when they can and support the club. No club deserves better support it has to be earned, football in Swansea is currently more enjoyable than it has been and season ticket holders seem to be turning up instead of leaving there seats empty which is a good indicator, but success and results gets you better crowds.

I agree Bennys a good dort and the kind of poster we need , viz fans from a club you detest but able to discourse with human respect Look at some of our beauts who keep agenda going for years because they Don’t go to games Have opposing views The site owner of the forum is foreign based and sees few games live , I suggest Many are suffering from health issues Others are carers Nobody is going to tell me these are inferior fans to those who go to games and then crow about how loyal they are Having the brass neck to impugn people who were standing on north bank pisse before they were a tadpole I thought this had ended It hasn’t clearly

Just the sort of poster we don’t need You are completely utterly wrong We have fans clearly believing they are better than others This dialogue started because I touched a nerve and this is the result This puts armchair fans from going , you know , instead of sitting at home , they go but when they do those sitting next to them can be looking down their noses as they don’t go enough The club deserves a bigger following Period I’m Fook n done

I’ve lost the passion, as said on here countless times. Maybe it’s just a generational thing or what I don’t really know. Tan hasn’t helped. It doesn’t sit well that we are supposed to be grateful for some bloke blowing £150 million of his cash mainly badly. However, it’s been refreshing to see us with a young progressive manager for once, a young squad with many who’ve come through the academy. I can’t recall seeing us have a team that regularly has 70/80% possession. Next season will be interesting, for once. Our support has been ok this season, nothing amazing, if we end up averaging over 20,000 then I guess that’s pretty decent. ST holders are also showing up for the 1st time in years.

That’s something that I have observed over the years too. There are very few clubs who bring more fans to our place than we taker to theirs

Absolutely spot on. Charlton a good example, Preston, Wednesday (dependent on the day) And let’s not forget Cardiff don’t always sell out. The 2-0 win when Cullen scored we opened up 700 extra seats before that game.

Our away support in London is always impressive. 2,500 ish at Charlton. Filled both tiers at QPR more than a few times, and there’s another team that never match our away support at the Swansea.com

I've spoken to many supporters over the years who probably only come back to Swansea to visit relatives and take in a game a couple of times a season, but see every game locally.

Yeah for sure….looking for the teams who might struggle next season I guess we’ve played them this season hey…looks like a strong league. Burnely walked it last time, spurs and resurgent wolves. It’s going to be tough. Any sheff weds about?
