1. Stokes has been a very good player
He’s been a poor captain
2 He clearly has attitude problems with both outside and inside the game
3 He is a poor role model
4 Seems to attract bad luck and be in wrong place at wrong time
5 Captain to be articulate and able to communicate at all levels
Mike Brearly a great captain if you want an average player but outstanding leader
Benaud ? Another decent player but staggeringly astute captain

He doesn't have the second best record at all as you are not taking defeats into account, England have had a huge amount of losses under Stokes.
Stokes and England trust to luck, its a coin flip, they hit out at everything, sometimes it comes off, sometimes it doesnt, so they either win or they lose, they don't draw, they have lost tests in 2 and 3 days.
It's best to award 100 points for a test win, 50 points for a draw and 0 points for a test loss and then divide by the games played to compare test captains. |  |
