A very bitter sweet feeling in the Mole hole today! Woke up this morning absolutely buzzing after Warnock's inspired win last night and then that good feeling came crashing down to earth as it hit home that the club are making yet more unnecessary changes.
Warnock's passion and energy clearly rubbed off on this group of players and that transferred to the supporters, well me at least. Really feeling the QPR buzz for the first time this season.
Really do feel Ferdinand is pulling a PC stunt here - real shame - all the best Neil and thank you.

I don't think anyone wants Ramsey back as a manager, but if he is a good coach and can help youngsters then why not?
there is no way Warnock would want to be in charge of the Youth team. he wants to be Director of Football - that is clear.

I don't think he is a good coach Vish , Kevin Blackwell got untold stick on here a few weeks back , but it has been evident and said he has spent the last 3 weeks coaching the defence making us organised and hard to beat , if Ramsey is a brilliant coach how come we looked so disorganised and conceded goals so easily , the fact is Ramsey is more trendy as a coach than the likes of Blackwell , I make you right about Warnock , but I would love him in charge of the youth, he talks sense, knows the game and loves this club

we had to be top scorers when your conceding over 2 goals a game within the first 10 minutes , Ramsey's teams were so open it was untrue especially the midfield , and our defending was abysmal, look at the confidence of Ned & Hall now compared to a month a go, that's down to Blackwell & NW id rather we shored the defence up and nick a point or 3 , it isn't pretty but we needed to go back to basics , if you look at our promotion team, we were very hard to beat NW was blessed as he had Adel, Mackie, & HH , so we could hit teams with a couple of goals , we have a half fit Austin this time round and Mackie is injured so fair play to NW and changing tactics , bar that last minute pen against Boro we wouldn't of conceded a goal under NW and like it or not if we had NW from the start of the season we would be looking at a top 4 spot now

I get the feeling you're wasting your time with some people, Dave. Rightly or wrongly, I get the impression that some people are positioning themselves for the post-Hasslebank debate already - "I always said that Warnock should have got it", "only at Rangers", "Ferdinand turning Rangers into the UN" etc etc.
I'm in great form this morning so I'm just laughing at it, to be honest.

So those who think Warnock has brought stability...do you want us to sack the DoF (Les) instead of the head coach then? Do you want Warnock as DoF, head coach or simple old style manager? And I'm sorry but whilst Kevin Blackwell spending 3 weeks sorting out the defence is very welcome,having seen his teams play over the years I still wouldn't want him anywhere near a long term position - it's not as black & white as a comparison with what Ramsey did or didn't achieve with the same players
I still think it's a circus, but at least the JFH appointment, overseen by Hoos & Ferdinand, is still broadly sticking to the script from the summer....appoint Warnock manager and we'd be ripping that script up and starting again (again)

I understand what you're saying PP, I really do, but 'we had to be top scorers when your conceding over 2 goals a game within the first 10 minutes' is exactly the same as me saying 'we have to be solid defensively when you score 1 goal every 270 mins'. My point is that neither have got the balance right yet, that's what JFH has to do. Ultimately NW and KB is not as good as some are making out the same way CR wasn't as bad.
I appreciate the job NW did and I'm disappointed it didn't work out for Ramsey - I would rather have JFH ahead of both of them though.

He is a legend here at QPR but he has been realistic and said he doesn't really want to manage full time again. He is perfectly capable of it but you think that the reality of that for us would be a man approaching 70 being in charge of the longer term plans of the club.
The problem we have is that if that is ever to be a reality, and it seldom does at this club, but if it does then we have to have someone who is going to be here for the next 5 years. A stupid comment perhaps but Jimmy is 43 and that is (even if it is science fiction) possible.
It's a difficult one for the club because as far as I know they have already told Neil that they want him to stay and be involved with the club in his previous capacity again. To be an older head for the manager to bounce off. If Neil had been in his early 60s I don't even think an appointment would have been made. He would have been appointed full time in a 2nd spell, but when Neil says he doesn't want to manage full time, and perhaps that is a decision he and his wife have taken in regards to retirement down south, then it's hard for the board to do anything else but try and find the right man, a younger man, to take the club forward.
Obviously timing was right for Jimmy. I would have waited with Neil for the hand over at the end of the season but they obviously think Jimmy is the man and got him now.
I have loved the way we have played under Neil, whoever would have expected such an open way of playing under him with such a solid back line. But he is in his 68th year and that makes it tough because with the best will in the world, even full time he possibly would have only done until Christmas 2016 before thinking, jeez, do I really want to travel 300+ miles X times a week to do this?
So, Jimmy has started well as a manager. He has a lot of the same values as Neil. Attacking and solid at the back. Hopefully he will look at elements like Ned and Hall, Sandro and Faurlin and hopefully Charlie and Chery or Fer and think, I have a good spine here to build on.
As a black supporter I feel I'm entitled to voice an opinion on this and for the record loved sir Les as a player, by far my favourite R's player but what I don't like about the role he's in now is his constant references and interviews which always comes down to 'not enough black managers in football etc etc...' 'Let's raise awareness etc etc...' 'Let's kick this out of football etc etc...'
Just do the job you're supposed to do and get the right man in, regardless of colour!
I hope JFH is that man but can't feel a little sorry for Warnock

Plus I'm glad you mentioned that you're a black supporter otherwise the PC brigade would be jumping on you by now.
Anyway JFH is our man now and he's a pretty good candidate. I hope everyone gets behind him and gives him the time he needs to establish himself, even if results suffer in the short term.

Neil Warnock for the rest of the season, yes, but longer than that, no.
He said he didn't want the job (maybe eyeing of Les' DoF role?) and we need someone long term. I think once other clubs started shedding Managers we needed to move quickly before what few good candidates there were ended up elsewhere.
The feelings towards Warnock is pure sentiment. Yes, he's enthusiastic at the moment but he's had a nice long rest. How would he be come the spring if things weren't going well?

A Warnock inspired win? What I saw was a dreadful game of football that Queens Park Rangers won because the Reading 'keeper was impersonating Rob Green! BTW, well done Rob on staying glued to your line last night & not going walkabout!
