Risible attempt at clever world play out of the way, I'll go for a low key, low attendance 1-0 win!

Presumably Perch will be one of the subs

Yep, thanks for reminding me - he's been injured and then not played much, now we know he's not staying and I guess I've forgotten that he's there!

My only prediction is that Ollie will start with a proper striker.

I'm not feeling positive about tonight either.
Don't think the timing of anouncing departures will help and combined with injuries, illness, bans and the usual annual clocking off this time of year I can't see beyond 0-2.
Happy to be proven wrong though and just about to set off.
At least it's stopped raining

Blimey Woking that IS a bit negative.

Not sure announcing departures of players who haven't been near 1st 11 for months is a negative.

We only have 1 ban and Smith is on the mend and may well play, plus Sheff Weds have nothing to play for either.

I think we will win, but tbf, have no confidence or logical reason for that prediction!

Off soon myself - as you say there is a faint glow of something yellow in the sky and its not raining, so here's hoping!

Cheers

Why aren't Sheffield Wednesday in any different situation to us. It has dull as ditch water written all over it.

We will also be safe if we win and Bolton fail to win, or if we win and Birmingham lose.

Easily within our capabilities to keep the suspense going...

Yep, its all a bit of fun isn't it?!!

To confirm, if we win tonight, we're officially safe, end of.

If we don't win, we'll still be 'over the mathematical line' tonight if we match or better whatever Barnsley and Bolton both do i.e. if we lose 10-0 and Barnsley and Bolton both lose 1-0 its still officially party time.....

I'l take a 1-1.

Here's my match prediction.
If we lose: Bloody idiot Holloway, why does he have to keep on tinkering?
If we win: Lucky win against a dreadful team despite Holloway's tinkering.

Don't think our record with Ned and Luongo is good, so fearing another defeat.

Happily settle for a draw and a good performance

No Luongo. Pav and Eze on the bench. Smith presumably not fully recovered. And the icing on the cherry on the cake, Baptiste at CB. Bare bones, I tell you. Bare bones.

Too much tinkering, their centre forward is 6' 12" & no Smith to combat set pieces.
That Nuhui bloke to get 2 & and a 3-0 thumping, we're on the beach..

FWIW, I'm happier to see tinkering with lineups rather than formation. Here's a formation that has worked well recently with a few different faces, which while we are safe makes much more sense to me.

My arithmetic seems to disagree with yours.

If Barnsley and Bolton win they can still catch us even if we win, as Barnsley will be 13 points behind with five games to play and Bolton 11 points behind with four games to play. Birmingham only need to draw to stay within mathematical distance, though if we win they would need to make up 15 in goal difference.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?
