Rumoured that West Brom are tabling a £3 million bid. I hope we reject if it comes in.

If they sold Bright for £3m there'd be a riot.

Is that a prediction?

Problem is his contract runs out in the summer so we aren't in a great bargaining position. Knowing us we will tell Brom to f*ck off and then sell him to them at midnight Friday for £2m.

Never knowingly right.

I believe he can refuse it. I may be wrong. One of the players we should really keep at all costs.

I don't think that's the case. (The refuse bit).

£6m + add on's I reckon.

Surely these extensions are for both parties. If enforced the other party has to accept it. If either party can refuse the extension it is pretty pointless.

He's worth more than 6m to us on the basis we wouldn't get an adequate replacement for anything near that.

Hoos bloody loves these extensions. Basically everybody we've signed since he got here has got a one year extension option on the club's side.

Anything less than 15 million and I will be truly done with Rangers, every other championship club gets way and above for their players except us,
Come out and say 25 million if not fcuk off

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Devil's advocate but he's only really come into form in the past few months before this he has been very hit-and-miss. There for is he really worth the multiple millions some of you talking about?

Based on valuations elsewhere yes. Crazy I know.

This.
What is the point of selling our best players and replacing with less experienced and less adequate players. We will sit in 16th place forever.

Well he is more worth playing for us than £3M in the bank. If finances dictate we had to sell for £3M then the club is not sustainable.

Gary Madine was 6 million a couple of seasons ago, let that sink in
Liam kelly 13 million
James from Luton who never played in the championship went for 6 million
Che Adams was 15 million
Clarke with us was 10 million
Hugill was 8 million

In today’s market if prem clubs want him it has to be at least 15 /20 million

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Even taking into account we’d probably take 25% less than a club in a better financial position, when you look at the utter dross/unproven players going for £10m+ it would be a travesty not to get £15m for him just based on potential. Spurs paid £10m for Clarke ffs.

I might be in the minority, but I actually trust Hoos to do the right thing. I know people can point to the Smithies transfer, but we were in a very different situation then, to what we are now. The wage bill has been halved, the exorbitant losses are closer to being rolled off for FFP purposes. While we still need to be financially prudent,I don't think the proverbial gun is still to our heads quite like it used to be.

I think they (Lee/Les) will say the price is probably in the 8-10 range and the buying club doesn't meet the valuation, the answer is no.

If we hold onto BOS (which I think we will), and even if he continues to progress, I think the price still is around 10ish if a PL team comes in during the summer, as his contract will have approximately 6 months less on it than it currently does and he will want to move to the greener pastures of the PL.

Bright on 20:37 - Jan 29 with 3613 viewsMedwayR

I’m sure I read the other day that Forest’s RB is on West Ham’s wish list for £12m.
Hugill cost West Ham £10m.
Clarke cost Spurs £10m.
McBurnie cost Sheffield Utd £20m.

We can’t sell ourselves short on BOS or Eze.

Poll: Who’s better?
