The Bournemouth Ultimatum Match Thread 09:27 - Dec 27 with 21783 viewsDorse

With our hangovers now officially classified as 'hangunders' and our blood now containing dangerous levels of turkey, tonight is the perfect time to add the 90 mins of heart strain that is watching QPR. Refereed by Keith Stroud. Live on Sky.

I hope you've all made wills.

Team news: QPR will be the ones in hoops. It is not confirmed whether Bournemouth will play skins. Dom Ball has been asked not to repeat his epic Christmas Day charade of 'No Sex Please We're British'.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Things that are fouls and things that are not fouls in Keith Stroud's head is a very confusing world

Yep, and I thought that was only a warmer from Stroud. You’ve got to admire the cnt, a true master of his art.

Remember he's a cnt for life, not just for Christmas.

i was doing my tea, i saw qpr dominate, bournemouth do what they do best, falling over, cheating, kicking ball away, break up play= no cards, i saw field make a tackle, foul at worst but no a yellow and a goal but the initila foul was on qpr in our box, ref blows or we go down, maybe the next phase don't happen? as ever shit ref, everything seemed against us, the usual. we never got shots away and they had 2 good solanke chances, one went in. this cherry team is a prem team, just come down, with that scrote for a gaffer, they are decent but get away with the DARK ARTS and we have to liven up and do the same .

It's cheating pure and simple. How he gets away with it I'll never know. Wish Sky would say something about this Bournemouth born ref, but I guess they haven't got the guts to speak out about it.

Strouds a cnt. But thats a foul everyday of the week. Balance of play Bournemouth deserve there lead imo struggled to get Dykes into the game

Let Solanke run free for two headers, he’s bound to bury one.

Think we had to shake off some rust in the first half… time to turn it up in the second.

Bad, bad decision Stroud. Bournemouth have earned the 0-1 but he’s done it again after having a decent 30 ish minutes where nothing major happened. That’s how it goes with him. Can’t handle 90 minutes.

We need to step up

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Even the Sky commentator said it wasn't a foul. It looked like a foul on Field earlier.

I thought we looked second best for the last 20 minutes, And we haven;t tested the keeper at all.

That foul by Cahill on Dykes, not given by Stroud was shocking,,, the whole stadium saw it. Even the Brazilian commentators couldn't believe it.

The more I watch the Field foul, the less I think it is even a foul.. he had a player all over his back for about 20 yards

I saw it as a foul, but certainly not a card. But we didn't defend well. We look a bit dozy, which isn't surprising. We're normally a second-half team, lets hope that continues.

Yes it was never a free-k, but we've not really created much and deserve to be one down despite Lord Farquar in charge.

Technically, they look streets ahead man for man and rarely look like losing the ball whereas we have been strangely reluctant to play through the Midfield resorting to a more direct route.

Need to get back into this quickly.

... And broken legs for Cahill and Solanke wouldn't go amiss...

Can we go out yet?

Did he? Got none of the ball and wiped him out. We had a strong first 10 and reacted well to going a goal down but on the balance of play I would say Bournemouth deserve their lead. Can try scapegoat the ref but I dont see it that way. We have not been bad just Bournemouth have been better.

We’re good at what we do but we have to do it quicker.

Whoever plays CF is a passenger for too many minutes of a game and it’s no fault of the CF.

Foul was at least debatable, mainly missed by the cameras, but Stroud held a few fingers up indicating to Field it was a yellow for persistent fouling. He had committed a few fouls, but normally you get those persistent ones for something worse than that.

Bare bones.

Teams have figured out how to defend against us and stop us moving into the final 3rd. We need to go up a gear to win this otherwise 2-0 to them.

The lead up to the goal reignites the debate about why some players go down under minimal contact. Field is fouled first but because he's honest and tries to stay on his feet he doesn't get the decision. Somewhat off balance he tries to recover the situation but is penalised himself, harshly so IMHO because momentum from the previous challenge is taking him through and he gets a touch on the ball.

Looked a foul but we should have got one a couple of times in that sequence of play.

Billing has made at least four with one a boot to the face and not even a word

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

We'll do well to get anything here without Chair.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?
